Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The photos of the property were accurate. Quiet location. Loads of pots in the kitchen. On site parking.

ItalyWe were disappointed with our stay at this apartment. The reception staff, particularly one receptionist, was quite rude and arrogant, making us and other guests feel unwelcome. The receptionist showed up 40 minutes late for the check-out process, delaying our schedule, and forgot to refund the garbage deposit we had paid at check-in. Additionally, given the substantial amount we paid for a one-week stay, we were surprised and disappointed to find that there was no washing machine available. This significantly detracted from our overall experience.
We appreciated several aspects of our stay at this apartment. The location was excellent, situated near the beautiful area of Caprera and conveniently close to a Conad supermarket. The apartment itself was a good size, providing ample space for a comfortable stay. However, we were disappointed by the absence of a washing machine, which would have been a valuable addition.

United StatesThe owners own several different apartments so you don’t know what apartment you will get. In the pictures they put the options there. Originally they put us in an apartment where the air conditioner ran out of coolant so it was blowing hot air. We ask to have them fix but it was the weekend so there would not be a person to fix it. They happened to have another unit. The woman was super nice and switched us. In the next apartment, the air conditioners worked but the hot water heater made “dolphin” like noises as it was filling up. This was annoying but not enough to ask for us to switch again. The apartment had basic cooking stuff which was okay. Last, not the fault of the management, the elevator did not work for the building so I had to take our luggage up 3 floors. We had packed for a month. Our 4 year old handled walking up and down the stairs like a champ. We had a good time.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the apartment location was great. We drove into to a beach and into town for dinner each day.

Spacious apartment with AC, dishwasher, comfy beds, gracious and helfpul hosts, and everything you'd need to enjoy La Maddalena. I'm not sure if there's new management or what, but I can't see why people are leaving negative reviews.
