Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe only thing is prepare to carry your luggages a flight of stairs from the entrance. Once on the first landing, there is an elevator to bring your items to your room. Overall, nothing made me feel like I didn’t like it. I really liked it ☺️.
First, the welcome team, host, and entire staff. Prior to check-in, I was greeted with a message, via WhatsApp, to provide me details of my check-in and process. Upon arrival to the property, the welcome team was amazing and assisted us along the way. The rooms were cleaned everyday and had all the breakfast items my children loved. That made life easy. Proximity to center was easy. As for transportation, there is a bus stop across the property which makes it easy to go areas. We walked everywhere since we were close to everything. Great place for a family of four. Room we were in was quite large. It was comfortable. It also has a small kitchenette with items for your use, for you to warm up food and make coffee. Great accommodation.

United StatesThe only thing that might have made it more comfortable is if there was a sofa in our unit.
Beautiful grand apartment building, and a lovely, simple, very accommodating apartment. Super convenient location.

Israelwifi was lagging a bit.. we also could not make the TV work - for the same reason. But it didn't matter for us because we barely spend any time in the apartment :) I am sure if we would request the hosts to assist - they would.
the room has practically all you need. At least for us it was ok. The gracious hosts also bought for us eggs, bread, cheese for the supper because we were arriving late to go out. The location is quite central for everything. walking distance - 30 minutes - to Foro Italico (for tennis competitions), 5 minutes to Borguese park and to piazza del popolo.

We had a great time staying at this location. The apartment was beautiful, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We were a group of 4 and the apartment provided a lot of privacy for everyone. Also, the apartment was cleaned daily and the fridge was restocked with drinks, made our stay so much more comfortable. Lastly, I really loved how nice the staff was to my kid, they even gave her some chocolate during our stay. Overall they are a 10/10.

GreeceWe had an amazing stay in Residenza Romana adding a plus to our overall experience in Rome. The apartment is nice and cozy, very clean, in a very convenient location that offers quick access to the historic buildings and monuments. The staff is kind and welcoming, the offered breakfast is decent with packed goods that are just right for a quick coffee before going out to explore the city. Big surprise was the cleanliness of the rooms with everyday retouching. The building is wonderful for those with interest in the Roman architecture but you have to be prepared for some inconveniences like a light odor in the bathroom that, in any case, is not a big issue due to the large window. Coffee shops and small supermarket 2 minutes away. We highly recommend this place for a short stay in Rome and we would choose it again in our next trip.

RomaniaWe had a really good stay. The hosts are really nice people, we even got our room earlier, since we arrived early in the morning. The breakfast was very generous, and our little one even received extra treats, which he was very happy about. The room is very large and tastefully decorated, all was spotless clean, and we had our room cleaned each day, with fresh towels at our disposal. The area is quiet and safe, well connected to the main atractions. Thanks you so much for hosting us!

SwitzerlandThe breakfast is provided, but it is limited with packaged items, which seems typical for some places in Italy. It is okay, but not for all tastes. However, near the flat there are nice cafes with fresh croissants and fantastic cappuccino!
The team managing the Residenza was very friendly and responsive. The place is well located, walking distance from the metro station Flaminio, with several shops and caffes nearby. The Residenza apartments are inside an elegant and ancient building, with high ceiling, marmor stairs, and there is also an elevator. The kitchen appliances are not for cooking, but enough to warm food with a microwave, there is a fridge, a coffee machine, and kitchen utensils.

United StatesResidenza Romana really checked all the boxes on our trip to Rome. It's a great location with walking access to the Vatican, Collosuem area, as well as the park. There are plenty of restaurants close by, and I loved the quiet atmosphere of the neighborhood. It seemed like a very safe area even late at night. Daniella, the host, responded to any questions promptly and accurately. I'd say the best place I've stayed in Rome all around, and it was also the least expensive!
