A wonderful chance to stay in a genuine medieval castle, in a comfortable in keeping apartment with a stunning view of the rooftops in the village below. We loved the access to the'state rooms' with the original wall paintings, furniture and trappings. With a great breakfast! Thanks everyone, you are a great team!

To find the entry of the hotel was a bit complicated. There should be a more obvious sign (maybe on the sidewalk). But eventually the staff was really responsive so no problem.

Everything was perfect. The room is really comfortable, clean and the staff is responsive. Finally, the location is great and offers a view on the whole city center. You can see the lighthouse and piazza cavour from your room. A quick walk downstairs in the street and you're in the center. Great trip ! 🇮🇹

The walk from the train station up a long steep hill, if you are coming from the station with luggage, unless you are very fit, take a taxi.

The bed is a bit saggy, and the powerpoints next to the bed were a bit small for my plug. I managed to use the one under the TV but it was a very tight fit. Also the window in the bathroom only has a sheer curtain which means when the lights are on it will be visible from the outside. It does face the windows of other apartments so it's a concern.

This is a very nice apartment. It had everything I needed. The building is old but the apartment is renovated and is kept extremely clean. I especially loved the shower, the strong hair dryer, and provision of shower caps. Also the owner is very friendly and helpful. He was very responsive and made it easy for me to store my bags after checkout.

The localization is fantastic - close to atractions and restaurants. Room was clean and big. Bed was vert confortable. Host leave snacks for us and doscount for parking. Behing the window is wonderful view on Ancona! I sincerely recommend this place.

The location was withing walking distance of everything - great location. Very efficient help by Whatsapp and no problen to leave bags once we checked out for later collection. There was also water available in the room and some light snacks.

We had a little trouble with the door combination lock at first because it’s very different from ones we have encountered in the past.

Great location and comfy bed. We could even see the sea from the room. We appreciated the bottled water and snacks in the fridge. What a lovely touch!

Cons: I have stayed in properties like this before, where you enter with a code, but the information given by the official hotel whatsapp (Giulia) was very impersonal and absolutely minimal. After endless failed attempts to enter the property, I messaged the emergency contact, Luca who gave me this valuable tip: the interior keypads do not respond to your finger-tips. You need to use your fingernails! I am not sure why I couldn't be given this information in advance.

Pros: My room was spotlessly clean, with a balcony facing the cinema across the street. The emergency contact, Luca was so kind and very quick to respond to messages. My only direct in-person contact was with the nice cleaning lady Cristina, who spoke excellent English, and told me where to go for breakfast. The location was great - just a quick walk down the steps into the town centre. Great pizzeria (Poldo's Pizza), coffee bar (Bar San Martino) and a Coal Supermarket nearby.

We found the directions confusing...sometimes instructions get lost in translation which caused us a lot of frustration when we arrived. First the building isn't well marked. Then you enter the code on the keypad to get inside then go to the 3rd floor to room labeled int 5. The keypad looks like a badge reader-once you tap the screen, the numbers show up. This door gets you into the Residenza Montebello section of the building, then you go to your unit. Pictures of the doors and keypads would have been useful. Also the walls are paper thin, you can hear everyone talking.

Room was clean and comfortable with a kettle to heat water. Building has a lift which was nice when bringing up luggage. Close walk to the parking garage with a discount ticket provided by the host. Good location to check out the town. Host was very responsive.
