We have stayed here before and couldn’t wait to return. A beautiful and well equipped apartment overlooking wonderful Piazza dell’Anfiteatro. You can watch the world go by from above. Coffee and breakfast and wine kindly provided.

The AC unit wasn't able to cool the place down very well. The ceilings are very high, and the AC unit works well, just isn't large enough for the open room and high ceilings. Beyond that, it was perfect. Note it was in the 90s while I was in Florence, any other time of year I am sure this isn't the same issue. It is up some stairs, which might be an issue for some. My internet didn't work during the time I was there but the hosts were responsive and had to get the company to fix the issue.

The location is incredible. Overlook the main square in lucca. The room is a great size for a couple or family. The bed overlooks the square as well. The bathroom is a good size and has good water pressure. The kitchen has most things you would need. Very clean space. The staff was very friendly. A very nice bottle of wine upon arrival from the owners whose wine it was, very good wine. The fridge was stocked with water and some food for breakfast, which was great to not have to worry about upon arriving.

The location was amazing , the person who came to assist us could not have been more helpful and polite . The provisions were exceptional, complimentary wine and fantastic snacks / breakfast products available . It is also an absolutely stunning property. ( and in the best square in Lucca ! )

This is a beautiful place with a kitchen/dining area, good sized bathroom and bedroom with an amazing view of the Piazza. The person who greeted us was lovely and friendly. A basic breakfast was provided within the property including pastries, coffee and a few treats. We were able to cook and enjoy the bottle of wine that was left for us. We would definitely recommend.

The rustic charm of this place is lovely. The feeling you get looking over the Piazza watching all of the hustle and bustle and wondering what it was like back in Roman times is really like you are part of it.

That I didn’t stay longer.

As soon as I walked in the door I knew we had found something special. Our magnificent host helped with our luggage & explained how everything worked. There was even a bottle of wine from his vineyard. The apartment overlooks the main square & is perfectly located to everything. The train station is walking distance, even with ridiculously overpacked suitcases. The shower pressure was perfect. The apartment was spotlessly clean. The bed was a dream. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!!

Our only suggestion involved the beds - everyone is different in their bed preference, but for us the beds were not very comfortable. It would also be great to have cotton (versus polyester) sheets. We had no wifi, although they were working on getting it set up since it was an apartment they just started renting; I imagine for future rentals it will be set-up fine. It appears they have different apartments for rent, so the one we were in was different than the one on the listing (not that that was a negative).

The hosts were extremely kind and helpful. Amazing hospitality. It was wonderful to have some breakfast provided. The location was amazing - so central and we could open the windows and sit and watch the people below in the the anfiteatro. Also had washing machine which was great.

The hot water for the shower didn’t last very long. This was the only semi negative.

Loved its location! This was the main reason for booking. We chose the Deluxe Double. The breakfast they supply you with was perfect for a pre snack before heading down to the city. The bottle of wine they supplied was also such a lovely touch and was lovely. The bed was super comfortable! The blinds on the windows shut out all the light so was perfect for the mornings.
