Beautiful views of Lake Como in a quiet neighbourhood. The apartment was within walking distance of a ferry stop, a great bakery, bars and restaurants. Matteo was very accommodating with a late check in due to delayed flights. We loved sitting on the balcony watching the boats at breakfast and in the evening. We loved our stay at Residenza Margherita and hope to come back again.

Everything works well in the house. Just a suggestion: it would be even better if additional air-conditioner is provided for the living room & the kitchen (the existing air-con unit in the corridor does not really circulate cool air to the living room & the kitchen).

Great location, quite easy to access (although the SS340 main road around Lake Como is narrow & crowded with cars & pedestrians). We like the beautiful house with nice view and ample amenities. Most of all, the warm welcome & hospitality of the host & his wife (she came personally to check us in while he came to check us out). We didn't realise the front door was auto-locked when closed and we were locked out immediately after check in while retrieving our luggage from outside the house. The wife drove back to the house to open the door for us again without complaint or any hint of unhappiness. Thank you Marisa & Matteo.

The property has a magnificent view of the lake. The location is also very good for exploring the local area although it’s important to have a car. The apartment is in excellent condition and has all modern appliances.

We stayed for almost 2 weeks in the upper floor apartment. The view from the balcony is amazing. The apartment was spotless clean and well equipped. The owners had great recommendations for things to do and see. There are some very nice restaurants within walking distance or 5 min drive from the apartment.

Some little practical things like having somehwere to put soap and shower gel in the bathrooms and more plug sockets at suitable heights.

We had a great family week here. The host was fantastic-meeting us on arrival and helping quickly with any issues that arose. It has an amazing lake view and feels very spacious and well appointed

We had to get Euro's for the deposit. Lost money on that deal. No dryer,bed was a little hard but we like foam toppers. Check out is at 9 am. They let us stay until 10:)

The views from all of the windows were spectacular!!!Netflix was available,kitchen was great, two bathrooms very clean, Matteoand wife were super nice hosts. Loved the bells ringing and the grounds were beautiful.

A car here is quite a must; however, the roads in the village are very narrow. All the walking is uphill / downhill. If you're without a car, maybe it's better to stay in a more centered village.

Matteo is super friendly and helpful. We had a severe setback in our flight, and Matteo was super flexible and understanding. The apartment is spacious, very clean, well equipped, and has the most fantastic view of the lake. Grocery shop and bakery are a few minutes away. Private and large parking. Very quiet!

Amazing views and really comfortable house: spacious rooms, beds, bathrooms, kitchen, etc. even air conditioning! Because there were high temperatures this August. Very good location to take the ferry to Belaggio or Varenna. Perfect place for a family or 2 couples. Also, the very best is the attention of Matteo, the owner, really friendly and helpful and ready to explain to us how to make the most of the Lake. Totally recommended place. Thanks so much for everything Matteo!

Not much really. While it is walking distance to restaurants and cafés, it is a reasonable walk and the choice is limited in Tremezzo, so you do end up driving quite a bit.

Location was outstanding in terms of the views. House was fantastic and Matteo the host was excellent and a joy to deal with.
