How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The airconditioning in first room didn't work properly (ventilating but not cooling).

They should have dedicated bag storage.
The property was absolutely beautiful, room was very large and comfortable. Location is just perfect and within walking distance of many places. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Only reason its not a 10/10 is due to their pillows- extremely soft (almost like there is no cushioning - kind of like when cotton within the cover splits and is clumpy). There were two so you could stack them up so that's how we managed- not a big deal to us.
The air conditioning was a life saver in the peak Italian summer! Room was as pictured, clean and spacious. Great location - walkable to lots of main areas (piazza navona, trastevere). There was daily room service which was also great.

Perfect location. Even though it was pretty central the room was very quiet. Lovely decor and clean. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. The air conditioning was extremely welcome in the August heat.

The location was very good. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the daily room cleaning / towel and coffee service was very much appreciated. The hosts were helpful and knowledgeable.

The only thing is the high price that descourages from the longer stay and the elevator that is quite small, so for people with claustrophobia I recommend taking the stairs
Perfect location for a city break - all the main spots are within walking distance of the hotel. The room looks even better than in the pictures - modern and really clean.

Shower could be hotter. We stayed in summer so not a problem, it would be quite cold in winter.

Could not have chosen a better place for mine and my partner’s 4 day stay in Rome. The location was absolutely unmatched and it was incredibly clean, new and comfortable. The staff were super friendly and so welcoming. Really could not fault it at all and we will be back!!

The communication before checking in was good, until the person communicating with us, got all the info he needed (time of arrival, passports etc), then he suddenly stopped answering questions regarding ordering a taxi to the airport and recommended restaurants in the area
The apartment was roomy and beautifully decorated, amazing location, 2 minutes walk from piazza Navona and great restaurants and pubs. Feels very safe, funny story: my son forgot to close our room’s door and when we came back it was wide open and nothing was stolen or touched. The night receptionist was very kind and helped us with everything we needed 🙏🏼

very disappointed there was no spa. It was one of the main reasons we booked it as I was really looking forward to using the jacuzzi after walking around Rome. I will call and check next time! Booking.com should tell us this!

The elevator is tiny. The pillows in the room are not the best. There is too much light in the room from the aircon and emergency signs. We struggled to reach the place by public transport (this is not be the property’s fault but it’s something to keep in mind so you plan carefully)
Very close to everything (all the main tourist attractions) and so many nice restaurants and bars etc. It was clean and a good size. Shower was really nice.

Amazing stay! I can highly recommend! Oksana was so lovely to deal with and once we entered the building we were so impressed. The room was so beautiful clean and I only wish that we stayed extra couple more nights. The location was great, walkable distance to everywhere. A lots of beautiful streets to explore and enjoy negroni.

Room was very modern, clean, bed very comfortable. Great location for a good price. They allowed us to store our luggage as our flight arrived at 8AM. easy pick up when we were ready to check in (After hours - decided to get dinner and check in at 7PM).
