There is no reception but Simone was so helpful that it all went very smoothly. The mattress was not very comfortable but we understand that these are all to be replaced soon. The apartments are a short distance from the centre but that means on street parking is easy.

A wonderful historic property but rooms are beautifully restored with new bathrooms and air conditioning.

Beautifully restored old house with lovely old ceilings and remains of frescoes. Stylishly decorated and spotlessly clean. Chiara was extremely helpful. Her recommendations for restaurants were excellent. We would definitely stay there again!

The room was on the ground floor, which was mentioned in the booking, and therefore lacked privacy and was louder than expected.

We were a little disappointed in how few bars and restaurants there were in the immediate neighbourhood but that is not the fault of the Residenza!

Residenza Giulio Romano is a stunning place to stay. The palazzo has been carefully and beautifully renovated to include modern amenities but still showing the beauty of the past.The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable and had everything needed for our stay including coffee machine and washing machine. Check in instructions were clear and Chiara was a delightful ,friendly ,helpful host. It is a short walk from the Residenza to Manova's centro storico and a short taxi ride from the station.

It would be good to have a fridge. We were given an incorrect code and no keys had been left for us but a staff member came to resolve this very quickly.

Beautiful remodeled old building, fully functional, close to Mantova historical center. It was like being lodged in an ancient location, but with all commodities of the present, we really enjoyed it. Chiara gave us all the hints of the place , including parking in the streets around the B&B. We had no difficulties to find a spot.

There is no private parking and it depends on availability of the road side parking lots to have a good position.

Nothing,everything is just perfect.

I like this place very much. Chiara is like the best host I have ever met. Upon my arrival, she just showed everything I need to know:the sightseeings, the restaurant and even taught me what kind of local food I should try in Mantova. After a house tour I was offered a very spacious room, extremely clean and modern but still with those old frescoes on the frieze. That is one of my favorite part. The building dates back to 16th century with the original frescos my the studio of Giuliano Romano. It is so very beautiful. And I do like Chiara very much, we met and chatted on my way to the train station on the day of checking out. The next time I will definitely stay here again and bring my family with me. Thank you Chiara for everything! I will give 100 out of 10.

Couldn't find anything negative about this place.

We stayed in the apartment and we found it to be excellent value for the money. The place was spotless, quiet, and tastefully decorated. Chiara was a great host and wonderful help in so many ways. I won't go on and on about how wonderful this place was, suffice say that jokingly I told my wife that I was looking for something even slightly negative to write in the review but I couldn't find any. I would give it 11 out of 10 if possible at all. The location is also perfect, away from the tourist crowds, and yet so close to all the important areas of the city, including Palazzo Te with its new park.

First of all, the host had no control over this. But both nights (worse on Saturday night), people returned to their rooms late after a big night out. Their voices were quite loud (not fun for someone trying to sleep at 0230). Perhaps some reminder in the welcome booklet that the shared spaces (like the little lobby on the upstairs floor, in which 4 rooms face) should be respected- especially after midnight.

The facility was very clean, with a wonderful bathroom and comfortable bed. There was an electric kettle in the room, with tea bags/sugar; there was an expresso machine in the check-in area. Never met the host- check-in was competed remotely. But the host made some initial dining suggestions. It was not a bad walk, but know that it takes about 12-15 minutes to walk to the true center of town (shops, restaurants, bars, churches, etc.).

Very good contact with the hosts who were extremely friendly and helpful once we were there. Apartment was very clean and well set out. Great air-conditioning, good shower, kitchen had everything. Comfortable bed, good WiFi. We relaxed as soon as we entered. Good location with everything within easy walking distance. Parking was available outside or in next street.

The room was incredibly beautiful--restored 16th century touches in a thoroughly modern suite. Communication with the B&B was great and Chiara was available to answer a couple of questions we had about the city--we could message her via WhatsApp. We also got a brief tour of the building itself by the person in charge the morning we left.
