United KingdomThe shower pressure was poor. There was only 1 coffee sachet in our room during our 5 day stay. I did ask for more but they'd run out. Parts of the room looked like they hadn't been dusted in about 6 months, eg the picture frames, skirten boards, the top of the safe, the shelves in the wardrobe and the ceiling had cobwebs hanging from it.
Location, was just an 8 minute walk from the train station, slap bang in the middle of Florence. 3 minute walk to the Duomo. The breakfast restaurant next door was very relaxing and the staff were great. The beds were comfortable and the safe was free of charge.

Hotel is on 3rd floor. Once there everything was nice. Our room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is offered in restaurant next door and was very nice. Location is very good.

United StatesRoom floors could use more frequent cleaning since they’re hard floors and not carpet—my socks were pretty dirty after taking my shoes off and felt it felt icky walking out of the bathroom to the bed.
Room had great light even facing the courtyard, high ceilings, pretty modern fixtures despite being in an older building. Andrea was a great host and was really helpful with booking us a taxi and making sure we got some breakfast for our super early flight out! Location was perfect, just off the main piazza around the Duomo and the roof had a pretty view of the Medici Chapel. Would stay again!

United KingdomSee previous comments about struggle to locate and unloved and messy entrances
Amazing location, about 5 mins from train station and 2mins from Duomo. We were travelling with teens and had a fab amount of space with a room up in a little loft space but with stone stairs, an entry room with double bed settee and the main room double bed and bathroom for us all. So it felt like three rooms and everyone had space/privacy. The staff were delightful, so kind and gave great recommendations. We could see the Medici dome from the room and listening to the bells in the morning was wonderful. The downside is the location. We called three times trying to find it and wasted time walking around looking. Basically there is a plain wood door next to the restaurant where the breakfast is (you get tokens and it’s great) and on that door is a weathered paper sign with the hotel name and ‘elevator’. You need a code to open it and then end up in a corridor full of old sofas and get a tiny lift up. There are stairs and an iron door too, again unloved. So the common areas need attention but it could be so good.

MexicoThere was no code to the entrance and although they state hours of operation there was no one there when we got there. We sent messages and called and still nobody answered. Thankfully other travelers were leaving and they opened the door and instructed us where to leave our luggage. Finally a very kind young girl arrived and gave us a code to come back later and do the check in. The room had the worst smell ever and left all our clothes and belongings with a stinky smell too. The beds are very uncomfortable and the pillows were so thin I had to fold my clean towel and used underneath it. Practically non-existent pillows. There was a very annoying and continuous noise coming from the ceiling. Sounded like water from drainage (probably the source of the terrible smell). I sent a message via Booking but once again I had no answer.
It is very well located, very close to the Duomo and walking distance to train station and all main places of interests.

United StatesI arrived after 7 PM, and I had a problem accessing the hote/ receptionl. The doors were locked and I had to ask for help in a store on the side of the hotel. I called the hotel support number and the person that should have helped me with directions was not clear and did not help too much. Only when I was able to access the hotel and in my many call tentative, someone provided me the required information about the room key, etc

United KingdomWe were slightly worried when we entered the building, we didn’t realise reception was on the 3rd floor & you had to take a lift. Once there any worries went away. The paintwork in our room is in need of freshening there we scuffs and black marks in areas. I also go bitten a lot especially as it’s December & they’re mainly on my feet which I think must have happened either whilst in the shower or walking in the room barefoot, ordinarily this is an irritation but I do react badly so it’s a very painful one.
The room was great, check in was very good, everything was explained to us on arrival, the guy checking us in was lovely, and very helpful with suggestions of places to go, eat etc.

Hong KongAlthough there was lift, there were still quite a number of stairs need to manage before get into our room. Door in the shower tub couldn’t close tight so that some water leakage when someone took the shower.
Location is extremely close to landmark cathedral, breakfast is buffet style: food & drink were bravo. Hot water, shower heads & heated tube to warm up the room were working well. Staff was responsive & helpful regarding on-line enquiries & request.
