Soap or Body Wash was not supplied, which was unusual. Water in fridge would have been good. We arrived late in evening and supermarket was shut.

Proximity to attractions and restaurants was perfect. Good size apartment with 2 bathrooms and nice Venetian style. Host was wonderful in picking us up from Water Taxi and inducting us into apartment and providing us with tourist information. A bottle of wine provided was a nice gesture.

The apartment is very well appointed, comfortable and felt like a 'home from home'. Traditionally Venetian in both it's character and setting, within a cosy alley in western Castello, hidden literally 3-4 minutes from San Marco Basilica yet far away from the crowds . There are 2 friendly, relaxed restaurants within seconds of the front door both of which we would recommend. Stefano met us personally at San Zaccaria and guided us to the apartment.He was very friendly, engaging and helpful. We can't recommend Residenza Ca Brighella highly enough -our family loved the stay. Thank you Stefano and family.

The accommodation is in the most amazing location. Stefano was very helpful, he even came to meet us at vaporetta stop to guide us into the apartment. It was a magical time in Venice.

Great location with a great host! Apartment was interesting, specious and accommodated us easily. Host was pleasant and very helpful. Location is right outside St. Marco. Good for families- has small kitchen, bathrooms and washing machine that came supper handy as we were drenched in sweat :)

Super friendly and helpful host Stefano met us on arrival at the apartment . Apartment is really comfortable and clean and kitchen was great . Restaurant next door was nice too lots of shops and supermarket nearby for breakfast etc .Air con kept us really cool as it was hot in Venice .perfect apartment for 4 people.

Host provided information up front on how to get to Venice from various locations (airport, train station etc), details for tourist tax exemption and offered to meet us at the water bus and guide us to the property The property itself was very clean, comfortable and well located. If we were to offer advice we would suggest a toaster would have been an advantage, also the bath plug needs to plug in so water stays in the bath.

Central location close to anywhere you wanted to get to. It was secure so it felt safe, the apartment has been updated very well considering its age we all slept very well and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Our family stay was absolutely amazing! The property is located in the very heart of Venice - all the attractions, sights and landmarks are reachable on foot within minutes. This atmospheric, Venetian-style apartment is clean, comfortable and well-equipped, offering all the comforts a family may need. High ceilings, wooden beams, Murano glass chandeliers and stylish paintings on the walls add uniqueness to the place. Stefano, the host, is communicative, friendly and helpful. Prior to our arrival we received precise information regarding the possible options of getting to the meeting point at San Zaccaria, which proved extremely useful. He welcomed us in person and accompanied to the apartment. We were provided with all the necessary information and tips as what to see or where to eat in town. Following Stefano’s advice we decided to visit the nearby islands of Murano and Burano, which proved to be a great experience. We spent in Venice 7 days, which gave the opportunity to see, taste and feel this unique city. We recommend Residenza Ca’ Brighella to anyone wishing to explore and fall in love with the city.

We did not find any soap provided in the showers but that was not a deal breaker. The mattress in the 3rd bedroom near the front door was a little uncomfortable as it had a 'dip' in the middle.

Stefano was welcoming and knowledgeable. He provided information about places we were interested to visit. The apartment is spacious and we loved the 3rd bedroom which was perfect traveling with 2 adult children. Location was excellent and very close to all the famous sites - 5 mins to San Marco and 10 mins to Rialto. Vaporetto stops, cafes, lots of restaurants and a supermarket were only a few minutes away. It was our favourite apartment in all of our travels in Italy!
