We were in a very spacious and beautiful suite with a well-appointed kitchen. We really enjoyed the opportunity to make a vegetarian dinner from the fantastic local produce! Lovely views and very convenient location!

The property is very echoey due to the building (no one’s fault!) and kitchenware needs a bit of an upgrade for a group (more glasses etc), would also be nice to have a table and chairs on the terrace. Otherwise perfect! Thanks

No electric jug just kettle for gas. We had real difficulty lighting hobs as lighter supplied was empty. We found another but it also ran out. Maybe housekeeping could check lighters as a matter of room clean. Didn’t deter us from cooking.

Very large apartment. Great to be able to cook after travelling and eating out for 2 months. Very comfortable space. Parking good but away from property. Allocated spots a street away. Great to have elevator for luggage.

I stayed in a suite with a big bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. There were nice views from the windows and the suite was very quiet at night, so I slept very well. The location was excellent: a short walk from all the main attractions of the historic city center and easy to reach from the train station. The director was really friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay and I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Città di Castello!

There was only one armchair / space for one to relax in the sitting room area with the TV. A small sofa / 2 armchairs would have been lovely. The electric sockets are rather dated, but function well. No USB ports might be an issue for some travellers.

Very spacious, with all the necessities. Fantastic location and access, fantastic and friendly management. Lots of clean towels and a nice big bathroom with bidet. Loads of cupboard space if needed. For people who don't want to stay in a modern hotel chain, this is a lovely alternative, full of character. It's also great value!

Kitchen could be equipped a little better, but you get by.

Very friendly, welcoming staff. Overall a very pleasent stay in a very special location. Would recommend. Great price too for what you get. Another big plus for us was that the heating worked perfectly, which we needed as we had a lot of clothes to dry for the next day of our hike.

Fantastic experience, warm and welcoming reception. Very helpful with tips about the area. Peaceful stay in a historic building that has been renovated simply and tastefully. Perfect place for relaxing and imbibing feel of an ancient place. Would love to have stayed longer.

a bit dated, but it's ok - the toilet is a bit small, but i guess it's because of the age of the building that makes it difficult to renovate, nevertheless is very well kept and charming, so this wasn't really an issue

This was a wonderful experience: it’s like stepping back a couple of centuries but still having all the comforts and conveniences of today. The hostess, Eliza, is incredible, thoughtful and provides excellent service. This property is highly recommended.

I'm 6ft, that's not hugely tall, and the bed was a little short (also pillow a bit to big and unforgiving). For others this would not be a problem, I'm sure.

Great apartment, in equally great location in central Citta di Castello. Very welcoming lady on reception, who even walked us to the reserved parking spaces. Marvelous place to hear the bells of Citta ring out over tiled rooftops. Very handy for cappuccino and brioche in piazza next to apartment.
