Location was excellent, rooms were a great size and spotless. Big shower and all amenities covered. Staff were extremely friendly , helpful and nothing was too much bother. Easily the nicest place we have stayed in Florence , and we have been multiple times. Thanks Andrea a great stay !! From all Dominic’s family !

A little noise in the evening in the street because there are restaurants next to the hotel. But at 11pm, there's no more noise, so it's not really disturbing.

The hotel is very well located in Firenze, close to all points of interest (less than a 5-minute walk to the Uffizi Museum or the Duomo di Firenze). The rooms are spacious, bright and very clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is very good, copious and the cakes are homemade. The hotel staff are very kind, courteous and friendly, and will help you make the most of your stay in Firenze

Staff were very kind and friendly. The room and bathroom was very clean. King sized bed was very big enough to two people and very confortable. Breakfast was fresh and many kinds of plate, eggs, cheeses, ham and bread. It was the most wonderful hotel that I have ever stayed.

I would only warn there are stairs to climb to get to the room (but they are so worth it)- BUT they do have a little 1-2 person elevator too so it is accessible! I did not mind them at all but just thinking of people who may need accommodations.

This room was a GEM! Absolutely amazing location in the middle of Florence right by the river, super comfy beds, air conditioning worked so well, very friendly staff (and very accommodating! my friend was sick during travel and they were kind and attentive about it). I walked out the front door and spent hours siteseeing, and once the peak times passed I felt like I had some streets to myself to just stroll and enjoy (as a solo female traveler- felt very safe the whole time, have to go through THREE locked doors to get into the room!). Location can't be beat, and again- those COMFY beds :D

They keep the AC off until mid-afternoon. It was very hot when we arrived, especially after walking up the stairs, and we needed a cool shower to cool down in the early afternoon.

The host made our whole stay worth it. He was very accommodating, allowing us the check in a bit early when we arrived. He also helped us confirm our day tour with the company via phone. Location was amazing. Walking distance to everything but the hotel itself is on a little bit of a quieter street. Would definitely recommend staying here.

In terms of the hotel - loved every part of it! As a side note for those travelling by personal vehicle, parking in Italy is (to say the least) a challenge but this is not an issue for the hotel to resolve.

AMAZING location! Everyone we encountered was amazing. I dont know it concierge is a thing in Italy but these folks provided incredible customer service. The room was really beautiful and spacious and had a large bathroom with a great tub. Housekeeping were also very helpful and attentive. Location of the hotel could not be beat. 15 minutes on foot from just about anywhere - Uffizi, Santa Croce, Santa Maria del Fiore, and literally around the corner from Ponte Vecchio. Can't beat it.

We absolutely loved Residenza Alessandra. The location was quiet but close to everything we wanted to see and do. The staff was very friendly and helpful and gave us a great recommendation for a lovely restaurant close by.We enjoyed the breakfast on a few mornings too! I highly recommend it to anyone who is planning to visit Florence!

Would be a perfect stay if it wasn't for the challenging stairs which made the luggage transportation very difficult for my elderly parents.

There are several stair steps from the street level to reach the elevator to reception. It’s not unusual to have many stairs before reaching an elevator to reception, but it’s important to mention, especially if anyone has mobility problems or health problems climbing stairs.

The location is fantastic. My room, number 30, was huge and the bathroom was also very large. The bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom were spotless Andrea and Monti we’re very helpful during check-in and check out.

The reviews are accurate! Delightful staff Monte and Andrea, super clean, unbeatable location without breaking the bank. We, 3 siblings, stayed in the annex, in apt 28 across the street. An old convent building, with a great mix of old and new (high coffered ceilings plus all mod cons). You feel like a local coming through the giant wood door, up the old stone steps. Two separate loft bedrooms above a kitchen and sitting room gave us ample room to spread out and enjoy wine and snacks between outings. We appreciated the housekeeping everyday, the apt feels so private, it was an unexpected bonus.
