How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Clean is poor on balcony and bathroom. Location is a little bit overrated.
Good location for trips to Venice, see and shopping. Nice and quiet neighborhood, nice staff and pleasant room. Hotel is a mixed accommodation with long rented rooms.

Chalenging check-in and info re same. Abscense of coffe maker.

We stayed at Residence Venice for a few nights while visiting Venice, and it was exactly what we needed. The hotel is a bit old, but it has everything you need. The rooms are spacious, and the modern air conditioning was a big plus during the warm days. The location is very convenient, just a short walk to the train station, with direct trains into Venice. It’s a great base if you want to explore the city but stay outside the busy tourist areas with your car. Don’t expect luxury, but if you’re looking for a simple, functional place to stay for a few nights, this is a solid choice. Basic, but comfortable.

I didn't realise it was so far from venice
Clean room. Left a bottle of fizzy wine as it was new year. Cheaper than staying in Venice.

The apartment was perfect for our family of 5 that flew into Marco Polo airport late at night and were heading to Slovenia the next day. The room was big and had all we needed for our 1 night stay

Easy walk to the train station for getting into Venice. Supermarket just across the road. Spacious unit, recently updated. Good parking.

The kitchen was renovated, but the bathroom is super old-fashioned. Water pressure is definitely lacking on the fourth floor.
I will recommend you this location if you have the possibilities of a car and you don’t want to have the hassle of Lidia. Definitely not high end but it does have all the amenities needed. Another recommendation is to take your own dishwasher tablets, your own paper towels,toilet paper and detergent if you want to use their appliances. Also, I would recommend you a very good pizza place is called Stop…pizza.

Very strange place, feels like hostel for refugees. But price as for the good guesthouse.

one of the elevators was giving issues.
The apartment had all facilities like kitchen, appliances, beds, linens and very clean. Our family of 7 could stay comfortably in 2 rooms.

General condition of the building.
Everything was somewhat okay, but the building had seen its best days. Propably very nice when it was built but it had not been maintained too well, so many places were a little broken and no one seemed to care.

Internet connection was weak and breaking out.
Good location and just a train ride away to Venice. The apartment is spacious and kitchen is well equipped. We also had a little garden. The area is quite. Parking on the promises. Special thank you for the window blinders!

Walking distance from train station, good size room with kitchen. We were given useful information about places to go, very helpful staff. We loved our stay there.

We saw insects in the kitchen ,we tell them when we are living and they said they will solve the problem .

The bide was not connected to hot water. Beds and towels were clean, but the apartment overall wasn't as clean, but we cleaned ourselves and it was ok. I would gladly come again even if just for the staff.
The staff was amazing, very helpful, they even got a present because one of us had his birthday the same date we left. There were a lot of plates, cups and cutlery, dishwasher. There was privacy and shade on the balcony and it's a very quiet area. The village is very nice and everything is at walking distance, a trip to Venice is 4 euro by half an hour with train. Amazing transport infrastructure.

Very little, though there were no bowls in the kitchen we ate our cereal from a saucepan!
Loved the location, ease to access Venice and other location's using the train. Great apartment with facilities to cook and a balcony too.
