I had a wonderful experience at Terra Rossa in Taormina. The location is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant plants that create a peaceful atmosphere. From the terrace, the view of Isola Bella is simply breathtaking – one of those spots where you could sit and admire the scenery for hours. It’s the perfect place to enjoy the natural beauty of Taormina while feeling immersed in a little garden paradise. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stay with both charm and spectacular views.

The location is good but you need to walk to the beach, and to get to the center you need to call a taxi. The view and the pool are simply wonderful!

Would have been nice if the hotel offered the sale of drinks and snacks during the daytime and/or evening.

Lovely hotel. Truly beautiful gardens and pool area. Very spacious rooms, not luxurious but nicely decorated and very well equipped including kitchenette with refrigerator and basic cooking facilities. Great AC. Great WiFi. Lovely staff who speak good English and are friendly and helpful. Set in a quiet area halfway up the hillside between the beach below and the town above. You can reach both via steps… but there’s a lot of them! Fine if you’re fit and enjoy walking.

It would be valuable to have sunbed loungers by the pool area.

The location was peaceful but a bit too remote for us. The steps are fine for the young and fit but we found going up from the beach hard work. The best thing to do was walk down and then get the cable car up to the town.

The pool area and gardens are beautiful. The accommodation was quite basic. Giovanni was very helpful.

*The location is on top of Taormina, which increases your travel time to other part of Sicily for another 30 minutes. *We would prefer if the cleaning leady came every day, not every other day. *We were missing some hygiene products in the bathroom. Once we ran out of them, they were not replaced.

Breathtaking View from the room. the bed was super comfortable, the whole area was perfectly neat and organised around the apartments (all the flowers and bushes and the pool). We felt heavenly really.

The smell in the bathroom from the pipes was intense at times.

You cannot beat this view❤️ The apartment with seaview and terrace is spectacular. And yes be prepared to hike/ walk/ climb 350 stairs down to the beach and closest restaurants and up to the city centre and ancient theatre. We loved it and were prepared. Taormina itself is wonderful. In May it was already a bit crowded. I guess high season can be a challenge with crowds and hot weather. Huge advantage is a parking space close to the property. We could not move the car while exploring the city and have some extra fitness all the way which we loved. Wonderful time in this serene location.

The views from no. 37 were beautiful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The location is in the middle of everything. However there are a lot of stairs to navigate…down to the gorgeous Isola Bella beach and up to the beautiful Taormina town.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful place in Sicily. The location was absolutely dreamy, and the view was simply breathtaking. The pool was large, clean, and perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was delightful every morning, with a great variety and quality. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome. While the rooms were a bit small, they were perfectly fine and very clean. Overall, everything was spotless and well maintained. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Theres nothing we didn’t like. For us, it was perfect. If you have mobility difficulties, it might not be the best pick as you walk down to the beach and up to town. The walk is not strenuous and shouldn’t put mobile people off. Terrific accommodation.

The breakfast selection wasn’t appealing to us so we just cooked in the apartment. Just an FYI: Laundry fee is 20€

Amazing location with a lovely view of Isola Bella. The apartment was spacious and beds comfortable. We found free parking nearby easily. I definitely recommend hiring a car if you can’t walk many, many stairs. It’s only a 10 minute walk downhill to the beach clubs and Isola Bella. We would definitely stay again.

Bathroom basin was clogged up. We informed the staff of it on checkout as we did not want to spend time in the room while they were fixing it. The rooms are slightly dated but included everything that is needed
