Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Bosnia and HerzegovinaI don’t know if it’s specified anywhere but wifi isn’t available at your accommodation units, only around main areas like pool and restaurants and even there it was very poor connection. We really didn’t like the sea either it was very shallow, to the point it was impossible to swim in and full of sea weed but I guess you can’t really do much about that.
The mobile homes are very practical and very clean, ours came equipped with everything we needed. Kitchen was fully functional with big fridge, frying pans and cookware. Bed was really comfortable, fresh sheets waiting for us. Bathroom is pretty spacious for this accommodation type, nice shower cabin and lots of storage room. Air conditioning was working amazingly too. On site restaurant is good, the staff was polite and enthusiastic, food quality really good, fresh sea food, homemade pasta amazing. They have two pools one for kids and another deeper one for adults, both super clean and kept in good shape.

HungaryForget the beach for swimming, there are no waves and therefore the water is full of grass. If you order from booking com, you will need to pay for parking (6€/day) if you want your car next to the bungalow The food in the restaurant is good, but the waiters are some next level POS (wanted to take away the leftovers, first waiter was annoyed I even asked him something, promissed to help but left and worked outside. next waiter finally brought some boxes, threw it on the table and left). The cashier lady was at least nice.
The place is a good base of operation to visit north-east italy It has its own shop for your daily needs and also a restaurant, pool, bar, beach for walking.

Czech RepublicGrass, grass and grass at the beach and in the sea of villagio. There were only few places without grass and one of them was after 500 or more metres (behind the mall) somewhere between Italy and Slovenia. If there was no grass at the bottom, it was still floating everywhere around you. Also the sea level is REALLY low- you have to bath only when hightide, when lowtide we rather went to Grado.
Villagio was cozy and clean, our accomodation (Vila) was big enough for family of 4. Pools OK, although the biggest one was unfortunately for swimmers only with swiming caps. In few minutes you are in Grado, where is also nearest DESPAR for your grocery shopping. There is in Grado also nice, clean and grass-free public beach where you can swim in a deep water.

BelarusThe sea near the camping is extremely shallow. Even at its deepest point, the water only reaches waist level, and during low tide it’s barely knee-deep, making it hard to swim properly. Also, it's important to note that wearing a swim cap is mandatory in the pools. If you forget to bring one, you'll need to purchase it on-site.
We had a very pleasant stay in a bungalo with everything needed for a relaxed holiday. While the furniture and interior are not brand new, the kitchenware was completely new, which was a nice touch. We especially enjoyed the small terrace — perfect for having breakfast surrounded by beautiful pine trees. The location is convenient: you can rent a bike on site and take a lovely ride to Grado. Venice is also reachable within 1.5 hours by car. Another highlight was the camping's facilities — there are three large swimming pools with varying depths, which is great for both kids and adults.

PolandThe mobile home could be equipped with means to clean the dishes. There was a bit too much sea grass on the beach and in the water. You could not reach deeper waters without traversing through endless sea weeds. Look out for the camping restaurant - they tend to forget to put salami to your pizza!
The camping itself was well kept and kids really loved the swimming pools. The shallow waters on the beach were quite interesting and the view on the mountains around Trieste bay was astonishing. Air conditioning in mobile home works like a charm.

ItalyEverything in the bungalow was SO F* LOW! I am 181 cm (5.9 ft) and stuff like the bathroom sink or the kitchen counter barely touched my upper thigh! My back was killing me every time I brushed my teeth. Also, I hate shower curtains with a passion xD The afternoon activities (like yoga) are lovely but in my opinion should be done in a more secluded area since the garden poolside is quite uncomfortable and there is way too much noise. Finally, I know that the sea is not the village responsibility, but we noticed that the place next to this had some sort of structure to keep the worst of the algae away from their beach: we think if could be a nice addition, although we really enjoyed the sea as it was.
The people were nice and there was no hidden cost: when we arrived we already knew what was included and what wasn't. The place was reasonably clean and quiet, if a little worn, very good for families (especially if your kids are about 4 and upwards). The access to the beach is easy and immediate.

AustriaIf you are hoping to go swimming in the sea, look elsewhere. This is a lagoon. There is more sea grass than water, especially when the tide is out. It never went over my waist and I'm 173 cm tall. You can walk 400 m and through a small path of another 200 m of sea grass through the water with any number of people and to a sand bar, but have fun. You're bathing in a warm, shallow bathtub with many others. The only place to swim was in the one pool which is deep throughout, or the shallow pool, which is shallow throughout. There's also a small kiddie pool which was also nice. The fact that you have to pay extra for the tennis court but everything else (including mini golf) is free is what broke the camel's back for us. Why you have to wear a bathing cap at the big pool but there is no shower there makes no hygienic sense to me whatsoever. Also, you need to bring every essential with you or buy it there (but there is a Spar onsite). I don't understand why these kinds of places don't have shelves available for their guests where, those who are leaving, can deposit bottles of oil and vinegar, salt, pepper, spices, coffee, etc they no longer need to take home with them, and for those incoming, they can pick up what they need from the shelves. Instead, everyone is buying EVERYTHING, including dish soap, sponges and paper towels, as well as the essentials (coffee for no pot, for example). It's a freaking waste. We had to pay 6 EUR for parking every day we had the car inside the compound. This is one of the absolutely few holidays we had where I was not sad to leave and certainly did not feel I got value for money.
The kids were entertained. When we changed our approach and relented to having spent nearly 200 EUR a night for camping and not comfort, everything was fine. No hot water. No coffee pot (huge minus points for that one). The bungalow was teeny tiny and cramped and not stocked at all. No soap. No sponge to wash dishes. Nothing. But the landscape was nice, the staff excellent, the facilities pretty good. The animation team was excellent, really, really good people. The restaurant... it swayed between irritatingly poor service and really friendly service, but generally good food. The cafe was fantastic (open at 7:30, thank God). The beach bar was also very, very good. They stopped serving food at 4, but the restaurant has a similar menu and they open at 5. Good programs for every age (really enjoyed the aqua arobics!). And the place is safe. The kids could run around and do their thing. There were little shops, games, video games, animation and entertainment at all times of the day.

SloveniaHowever, there were quite a few issues that affected our overall comfort. The bungalows are outdated and would benefit from renovation. The mattress in our room was very uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The tap in the kitchen only ran hot water — no cold — so we had to walk to the other side of the campsite just to get drinking water. The stove in the kitchenette didn’t work at all at first. While it was replaced the next day, no one cleaned up after the installation, and we returned late in the evening to find a mess, with the reception already closed. The on-site store was only open for two hours a day during the off-season, and the beach bar was closed most of the time as well. We were also disappointed with the mini golf course — the tracks were badly damaged, and they only had four clubs available for use. This campsite has a lot of potential thanks to its natural setting and peaceful atmosphere, but it definitely needs some maintenance and better management to improve the guest experience.
We stayed at this campsite recently and had a mixed experience. The location is lovely — quiet, surrounded by nature, and full of birds and squirrels. The campsite isn’t too large, which gives it a more relaxed and intimate feel. We also appreciated that we were allowed to check in three hours earlier than the official time, which was a great start to our stay.

SloveniaLast day we checked out, and camp sent somebody to check the mobile home as friends were waiting. The verdict was that I left some cups on the table and did not take out trash, so they would not check me out until I go and clean. This was awkward, never had this kind of experience in my life, and I am over 60. When I asked where was this rule communicated upfront, the response was not really sensitive, just that "this is camp not a hotel". It may well be, but this may be a local rule, have not met it so far anywhere. And in the mobile home there was no dishwasher soap or anything; this means people wash dishes with just water and put it in the drawers? On top of it one can see that buildings are not really maintained. Close to the restaurant the roof is rotten and will soon fall of. Our mobile home porch had roof, where wind removed the protections, roof was rotting. Camp needs some maintenance, review or rules and hospitality training for the staff. Until then, I will use different camps.
It started quite nicely, new and comfortable Adria Mobil mobile home, good weather, grocery store in the camp. WiFi was reasonable. Camp spacious, quiet, has pools of which one is covered.
