The apartment has a small selection of amenities and kitchenware. Better cleaning could also add more value to it.

The location is exceptional, Montescudaio is such a nice and quiet place, close to the heart of Tuscany, so it can be used as a base for excursions. The property is quite big, the particular apartment could be considered value for money.

Beautiful location, 20 minutes drive to the beach, lovely little town next to the residence with a cople of bars, restaurants and a little supermarket. 10 minutes drive bigger supermarkets. Great appartment, everything you need. Two swimming pools, relaxed atmosphere.

There was a disturbing smell of mold in the room, and the poor breakfast was given in a local pub instead of the property.

Upon arrival, the host, promptly showed us to our extremely spacious room with a very large shower. The accommodations were immaculate. Although we initially had Wi-Fi connectivity issues, the problem was resolved quickly and efficiently.

Very nice and quite place with a fantastic view. From the hills of Tuscany a direct view to the sea. Room simple but nice. We went during winter so it was not possible to test all the facilities.

The Broadband was excellent for the first two days but stopped working after that. Marco tried to sort it by giving us the hub but only worked very slowly so it may not have been their problem!!

Great breakfast left outside our room every morning. Location is great for visiting places in the region and only a 15/20 minute trip to the coast.

Although there is a functioning kitchen, it needed to be better equipped in our view - eg tiny espresso cups only and no mugs. Cooking utensils are rather basic - eg knives, spoons. Also, although the bed was comfortable, two pillows per person instead of one would have been preferable.

The view from our room was probably the best one on the property. The location and upkeep of the swimming pool was really good. Marco is a very friendly and likeable person. We liked the no fuss attitude he had during our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Room was clean, very comfy bed, modern and clean bathroom, well equipped kitchen. You can order you breakfast by WhatsApp message to the person in charge for any time you want to be delivered and served at your personal terrace! It is nice and quiet place to relax but you are just few steps away from a little town and many wineries around. The view from the window was just gorgeous. I would recommend this place.

Amenities in the apartment were not great (lack of cups, glasses, etc). Marco was very helpful, however other staff were grumpy and not overly helpful. Would be helpful to have staff on site more frequently. Wood bar which is shown in pictures is never open (appreciate it is probably not worthwhile to have staff here specifically for this purpose, however photos on booking.com are misleading). Not really a fault of the property but advise any travellers to bring bug spray.

Fabulous locations close to town. Lots of shade which helped to keep the area cool during very hot weather.

Getting from the accomodation on foot to the town was a little tricky.

Beatiful location ...the photos do not do it just. The interior of our apartment had been done to a really high spec. MARCO is lovely and aims to make this prperty even better....Andrea is super helpful and brought a typical Italian breakfast to our accomodation.daily.

Upon arrival, you had to give your choices for breakfast. They served every day exactly the same, even when we asked for something different after the first morning. It would be nice if you're able to make these choices every day. The room was very cold, we shut down the airco and left the windows open, but we didn't succeed in getting the back of the room a bit warmer, at that part you saw some moisture problems at the walls.

the room seemed to be an old nicely refurbished wine cellar. therefore the only window was our door which led directly onto the patio with people passing by sometimes. without aircon the room got extremely humid and damp very quickly. breakfast was included and charmingly served on our patio, but the offered variety is not very wide and there was no fresh juice, although everything offered was supposed to be fresh and local. I missed egg dishes. we had booked 10 days which maybe just was a bit long for what they had to offer.

The property is quite nice and very large with two houses of rooms and apartments. Great view over an Tuscan vineyard. the pool was good for swimming and hanging out.

Le Fontanelle is a truly hidden gem. Nestled amongst beautiful greenery, a few steps away from the village of Montescudaio. It was as though time stood still and it is the perfect place to relax!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The pool was fantastic — clean, relaxing, and perfect for both kids and adults. The apartment itself was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is also great, close to everything but still peaceful. The staff were very responsive and helpful whenever we needed anything. Highly recommended! Will definitely return!

A Gothic Nightmare – Without the Charm! If you’re into haunted mansion vibes, ghostly check-ins, and decor straight out of a bad history book, this hotel is your dream. Otherwise… run. Run fast. I actually tried to be considerate: I called ahead to let them know I’d be arriving late. The person on the phone had all the warmth of a wet cinder block and practically hung up on me. When I arrived? No one. Not even a ghost to hand me a key. The room was spacious, sure — like an abandoned warehouse. The decor? Imagine Napoleon returning from exile and opening a hotel with zero budget. Even an Ibis would be embarrassed. Cleanliness? Let’s just say housekeeping probably happened sometime last century. The pool? I’m not Indiana Jones. I don’t venture into murky waters without a rescue team. It looked at me, and I looked away. Staff? Picture Cast Away with Tom Hanks. Same energy, but no Wilson. Honestly, most of the Airbnbs I’ve stayed in — even the ones with Hello Kitty curtains — had more class than this place. Here, I felt like I’d traveled back in time… without a machine, without a guide, and definitely without a refund. In short: a traumatic experience that taught me one thing — comfort is a right. And this place doesn’t believe in rights.
