Wonderful place to stay in the historic Domodossola.

Everything was great but if you are a sensitive sleeper like me I recommend ear plugs (some noise from the streets as we needed to have the windows open) my friend is the opposite of me and slept perfectly. :-)

We had a short but lovely stay. The host was super kind and accommodating. We booked last minute and she was so helpful and left us clear instructions on how to check in. The room was clean, spacious for 2 people and in the perfect location to get around town.

the shower is inside the bedroom instead of the bathroom, the breakfast pastries were underwhelming, and the fridge hadn’t been plugged in before our arrival.

It‘s very central, near Piazza Mercato. The rooms are nicely furnished and have special decorative items around the room.

Wifi was very spotty but it is an old building and we stayed during storms.

Very cute and historical building and very nice and kind hosts. Left nice snacks. Good quality hair dryer. Free luggage storage before check in and after check out. Good price for booking last minute. Good location near town center.

Amazing location right in the heart of the city, right on the edge of several small piazzas. Despite the location it was quiet at night. The ability to open windows onto the central courtyard of this historic building was excellent on warm evenings. We were made to feel very welcome and our host went out of her way to provide us with information about the region.

Historical and central building, with spacious and comfortable apartments. The owner is absolutely delightful, welcoming and helpful and provided us with suggestions on what to visit nearby. Also, she was extremely kind to give us bowls and a cloth for our dog: with this, she definitely won my heart :) !

Charming two bedroom suite right in the heart of Domodossola. Everything really close , great restaurants and cafes nearby! Parking was available and the staff was very friendly and accommodating, offering water right after we arrived. They took time to explain everything and direct us towards the highlights of the city.

The little balcony which was shared had a view of the bin store and the garages. It was quite noisy especially when cars left in the early morning. Also children crying from the residential apartments above woke us up.

The central location was excellent. The cool inner courtyard very welcome in the heat and very secure. Safe parking for our car.

Easy to walk right by the entrance since it is just a gate to enter a courtyard. Give her an accurate arrival time to assist the entry.

Marinella is a lovely Lady who made my arrival and stay extra nice. My first time in Domodosolo and I really enjoyed the Old World charm of the Hotel as well as the village itself. Hotel is more of a historic building and includes some antique touches along with a few modern ones. Great shower, bed and space to manage luggage. A very nice blend of historic and current styles in the city. There is some construction going on near the Hotel, but did not impact my stay whatsoever. They are making the streets a modern version of cobblestone with walking lanes within. Maybe some of them will be walking only soon. Great visit on my way to Switzerland on a somewhat unexpected stopover. Glad I did!

the residence Briona is located in a great location. it is lovely place and the people are extremely welcoming. very recommended for a solo trip.

Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend Unfortunately, our stay at this apartment was far from pleasant. The first thing we noticed upon arrival was a strong smell of humidity and mold, which persisted throughout the stay. There were visible signs of mold, and the air quality in the room felt unhealthy. The apartment’s soundproofing was also a serious issue. We could clearly hear everything happening outside, as well as all the noise coming from the reception area through a nearby door – not ideal for rest or privacy. Speaking of privacy, the main room had no door, which was a huge downside, especially if you’re staying with someone. Even more puzzling, the shower was located inside the room itself, completely open, which made things awkward and impractical. To top it all off, the toilet got clogged on the last day of our stay, adding to an already uncomfortable experience. Overall, this place needs serious attention and renovation before it can be considered a proper accommodation option. I wouldn’t recommend staying here until major improvements are made.
