How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Some touches to make it more welcoming (e.g. some pictures on the walls, some decorations etc.) would make it perfect.
Good location close to the centre, parking in front of the apartment (within the area of the residence), good wifi, spacious, easy check-in.

The property was spacious, clean and very well located. It was an easy walk to the town centre and the beach. The hotel also had a lovely roof terrace with great views. The owner Francesco was very warm and welcoming and gave us a lot of useful information about the local area. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Leuca.

We loved everything about this place.
Very clean, updated, fabulous place to stay. This place had terraces and a lovely rooftop balcony to relax and have sundowners on. The balcony overlooked the ocean and the town below. The bathrooms, wifi, washing machine and air conditioning were perfect bonuses. In a great location just above the beaches and restaurants. Five minutes walk away.

Bright, clean, airy, all facilities one could want, plus roof top & 2 balconies. Short walk to everywhere. Parking at the foot of the stairs to the unit. Francesco the host & the staff are all very nice, friendly & informative

More a complainant about the city and not the accommodation ... tourist office, host snd internet searches very unclear re what thr bus services were to head back north AND very confusing where thr bus stops were!
Lovely group of apartments, with access to washing machine, cloths lines etc. Host spotted us down on coast snd gave us a ride to our Appt. Leuca asxwell as being the final destination for peligrenos walking the Via Francigena Sud is a fantastic place to visit.

There is no kettle. There is no heating in the bathroom. Very small shower.

The mattress was uncomfortable; you could feel the springs. It would be nice to have toiletries, coffee, tea and sugar.
Spacious and clean apartment with parking; 10-minutes walk to historic center. Francesco is a wonderful host, ready to help you with whatever you need. I appreciate the shuttle service to the train station.

There could have been a bit more of decorations or furniture , it felt kind of empty in the living room area but that’s my personal opinion. It was a great place to stay at.
Great location, it was walking distance from all the restaurants and the boardwalk. Super helpful and friendly staff and very comfortable.

Everything is very old and cheap, doors are made from cheap wood and the humidity has taken their toll. Kitchen and bathroom furniture about to fall apart..
Very nice holiday apartment complex, a bit old and run down, but for the price an absolute steal. Very nice rooftop chill out area with a great view over the harbour.

The shower courtain from the small bathroom wasn't the best option to stop de whater, i would recomand to add a glass door.
Clean rooms and bathrooms, into a more remote and quaiet area, but close to center and with a spaciouse terace, where you could look at the sea. Perfect for a family or a small group and a + it had 2 bathrooms. Big Thank you to Francesco as he waited longer then expected and announced, not to mention it was a Friday.

Large, spacious 1 bedroom apartment with seperate lounge / kitchen area. Comfy bedroom with wardrobe space to hang clothes. Compact bathroom with decent shower. Large well appointed kitchen, with cooker, fridge, and dining table. Washing machine in the complex that can be used by guests. Small table and chairs on patio in front of apartment. Off-street parking in front of apartment. Only a few minutes walk from the centre of Leucca. Decent wifi. Our fantastic host Francesco was very friendly and helpful, and always quick to respond via WhatsAop when we had questions - really made our stay.
