When we arrived we found the room wasn't totally clean with marks (and a dried on bogie) on the walls. The door handle to my daughters room fell off on the first day, as did the coat hanger on the wall, and despite reporting to reception, no one came to fix it. I also raised that the shower wasn't draining properly and no one came to look at that either. The coffee pot in our room wasn't working and the coffee machine in reception wasn't working either, but we were grateful the guy on reception got us another from another apartment. These are all small things, but when you have paid so much I did feel disappointed and frustrated that there was no attempt to rectify this. I would have expected more at this price point. I would have rated a 9 if these things had been sorted. Saying that it remains a lovely place to stay, the views are incredible and the apartments really nice.

The apartment layouts and furnishings were modern and spacious and practical. The view from the apartment was amazing, despite facing onto the car park. The pool, albeit cold and small, was perfect for what we needed. You really need a car to get there, and you also need to be confident driving on narrow and steep roads.

Neither are really issues to do with the apartments, however just to note Pool got a bit busy by mid morning. I liked it best for an early morning swim! We had an electric car and I think there is only one electic charge point (we were fortunate to be able to use it all the time as no-one else needed it) +

LOVED it! Absolutely could not beat this view and the gorgeous location up the hill (you need to drive to make this location work). Great spaces (communal and in apartment). Superb management and very thoughtful touches (hot and cold complimentary drinks in the foyer for refreshment)/ Pool management and gardens immaculate. Apartment really clean and well appointed.

If had to would say needs a toaster. The trip up is along a track but thats what you have to do if you want the view. Tv all in German but we werent there to watch tv!

Self catering. Our room was on the ground floor with some great outside space and next to pool for an early morning dip. Apartment was well equipped. Very clean . Great shower. Fantastic views and pool facilities.

It’d be absolutely perfect with a washing machine in the apartment + a bar service for the pool.

Parking was a bit tight. Make sure to check the easiest driving route. We followed Google maps and ended up scraping the sides off our hire car having to make a choice between reversing up a tight track open on one side down a sheer drop, or going between two walls too tight for the car. The roads are tight but fine as long as you pick the right ones!

The pool view was lovely, apartment was spacious, staff were very friendly and helpful. Kitchen and facilities were good, with spare towels for the pool. Enough outside soave.

Actually nothing at the complex itself,, would have stayed longer. Maybe during high season the price wouldnbe too high for us. To go to the lake it is quite a walk down and up when you go back, when warm it can be a bit exhausting, but a nice walk when you take it easy and otherwise you'll need a car.

The appartement was very spacious, modern and clean wich made us feel very comfortable and the view is absolutely stunning. The complex with the garden and the swimming pool is also very well maintained and relaxing. There are two little restaurants nearby and otherwise in the Village down the Lago di Garda

Entry road is extremely narrow, not for every driver or car. Airco was not the coolest.

We stayed at the different apartment on the ground floor this time and the experience was slightly different. The beds were very uncomfortable, very hard and I didn’t have a good rest, the pillows were uncomfortable (hard) too. Some might argue, that it is good for a back, but I think it should be a choice or the beds should be medium - not hard, not too soft. The shower was very small and they don’t have a bath for children. As per last year, they still don’t supply with a toaster, microwave in the kitchen or decent coffee machine. It is self catering place so it would have been a nice touch to supply with necessities like salt and pepper, a small olive oil. They are very frugal with toilet paper too. There is no clarity about the change of towels and where to leave the dirty ones. There is no washing machine in the apartments so dirty clothes was an issue as well. There is one communal one but the access to it is quite difficult. They are responsive to messages in a polite but impersonal manner under “the management”. The pool is very cold in the mornings as it is not heated, it is not an issue later in the day. Despite this, we had a pleasant time and it is nice and modern place. But personally, we enjoyed it last year much more.

It was our second time at relais Zenner. We enjoyed the views, which are truly breathtaking, the fact that we could always find a place at the pool despite it being busy. The local restaurant serves the most delicious food. It is quiet place at night and all the residents seemed to be respectful.

The only thing we missed was a bar/coffee place or even some self serving facilities. We arrived very late and had no food or drink with us. Grocery shopping takes minimum 30 mins from the place

The ground floor apartments are open to the front car park which was not safe for our active 2 year old. We should have done our research about this. The staff were nevertheless very helpful and managed to move us to a vacant apartment on the 1st floor - thank you!

Spotless and spacious apartments in a serene location overlooking the lake. It was exactly what we wanted and we loved how it is off the beaten path.
