The nice room and cosy place to stay, pool and view

We loved everything

Lovely deluxe bedroom with stunning views and also a gorgeous view from the pool. Really delicious food at the restaurant (we particularly loved the duck ragout) and fair prices. Easy to get to by bus (365A) from Florence, close to a few wineries that we could reach on foot, which was important as we didn't have a car, and also a 10-15 minute walk to Panzano town, which was lovely. All the staff were very kind and friendly as well.

Not much shaded areas around the swimming pool (but the water is very clean and refreshing)

A nice place to simply relax and tour the area. Everything was good: friendly staff, good food, comfortable room, very quiet, and a sparkling clean swimming pool (towels are provided with the room!). On-site restaurant has a very relaxed ambient testy food and nice wine selection. You can reach Panzano by foot in 10-15 minutes. Just be aware that you have to walk alongside the main road (and it's uphill going there). Lots of wineries in the area. Book a tour in one :)

The breakfast buffet is nice and plenty of things to consume, but when food items were finished replishment took a long time.

The location is beautiful, the rooms a bit small and noisy. But overall great experience. Also had great dinner at the hotel. Worth a try!

A very beautiful area but picnics in the area are not allowed. We had a double twin bed instead of a double bed.

The place was very classic. Thr hotel is stone made mansion, very authentic. The room was decorated in a "medievel-renessance" way. Love it!

The walk up to Panzano with no proper walking path. The tea/coffee facilities could be better. Proper cups instead of paper ones & a teaspoon would help.

Perhaps the breakfast could have been a little more substantial than it was.

Great location in the middle of the Chianti area. Very friendly staff at check-in, check-out and in the restaurant where I had a very good dinner. The room is spacious enough, with a comfortable bed and a good, clean bathroom. I only stayed one night, but would have liked to stay several nights.

It is a charm and jewel of a vicinity. The location, the beautiful scenery and baroque feel of living in an old castle, the restaurant with its fine Italian food and smooth wine choices, not to forget the relaxing zen pool overlooking the fields of vineyards were all soothing to the soul. There was a great team energy, a lovely authentic chef and warm loving caring receptionists who catered to one's desires. Its a wonderful choice if one wants to reset the mind, and get back in touch with the essence of one's soul. Wishing you all an amazing life until we meet again. Greetings :-)

Everything was outstanding! We had a little challenge getting the key to our room to work which might need some attention but we highly recommend this lovely gem in the countryside

We absolutely loved our stay at this lovely inn. This peaceful location in the stunning Tuscan countryside was exactly what we wanted. From here we explored Panzano, Greve, Radda, and Gaiole, returning to this lovely oasis to relax. (We highly recommend the wine tour at Badia Coltibuono in Gaiole). We were welcomed warmly by the wonderful staff. We had dinner in the restaurant and ate out on the back terrace. It was outstanding - one of the best meals we had on our trip. We had a beautiful, spacious, room on the top floor with a stunning view.

Unfortunately, there are no words to describe this piece of Paradise. The staff was incredible, the view is everything anyone could dream of, the ambiance, totally idyllic....there's no proper review for this place, because it exceeds all expectations.....we loved everything about it! I would recommend it with all my heart!

Very peaceful and beautiful place, which certainly deserves the highest rating. We spent part of our honeymoon there, and it is the perfect place for couples looking for romantic views and time to themselves. The central location between Florence and Siena is an added bonus. The restaurant offers local dishes and very tasty Chianti wine. Highly recommended.

It’s not so much of a dislike but more a helpful comment to the staff. While I felt the staff could be more attentive by the pool ensuring guests have drinks (would greatly increase revenue) they have some somewhat strange rules for a hotel. Most I was okay with but the biggest frustration was asking multiple times for an additional bed sheet, to be told only the cleaning staff have access and all requests have to be made in the morning, which we did, but still wasn’t fulfilled. I felt at times the hotel felt under staffed and people doing too many jobs at once.

The property is absolutely stunning! The most beautiful surroundings, genuinely a slice of peaceful heaven.

The property itself is very special, I was pleasantly surprised, room with a view, lots of charm, a place where one can disconnect. Well maintained, family owned, helpful staff.

The only tricky part of our entire experience was getting to Panzano. Renting a car is probably easiest (it is an hour south of Florence), but we were avoiding that so we took the bus. The bus was a little stressful to figure out, but we got it and it took us right where we needed very easily. It was so worth it, it was the perfect place.

We cannot say enough about what a perfect place this is. We said over and over that it was the perfect honeymoon. You could not do better for yourself in Tuscany than at this villa. The staff was friendly and incredible, and we adored the cooking class we took. The attached restaurant was the best of all the food we ate, we said we wished we had never gone anywhere else (though we did eat there a total of 4 times). The location was unparalleled, the scenery was breath-taking, it was quiet and peaceful, and the charming town of Panzano was a short walk away for gelato, a few little shops, wine tastings, and the market. Panzano is far more charming and picturesque than Greve, we highlighly recommend it over Greve. We truly cannot speak highly enough about this amazing place and very strongly recommend it to anyone. If you want a perfect Tuscan getaway, choose the amazing food, beautiful room, and gorgeous views of the Relais Fattoria Valle!!

It would have been great to have some water bottles upon arrival

The staff was very lovely and the surroundings beautiful (wonderful sunset view from the pool). We had dinner there twice with very good local food (incl vegetarian options)
