Needs updating and the room smelt a bit foosty. Decor is very dated. No USB sockets in room. Heavy blanket on bed instead of light duvets. The 'pretend' bacon left me gutted! Warmed ham is not a bacon substitute 😅

Fairly warm in room even with aircon. Very hot in Bolzano for June. But we were only there one night so not a big issue.

Good for transit stop over night. Fairly basic room and hotel for the price but Bolzano is a bit pricey. Reception staff helpful and gave us a guest pass which meant free transport including funicular and tram up the mountain (great value). We had access to breakfast at 6am as early train. Convenient location - Hotel 2 min walk to Train, 8 min walk to Old town Piazza.

Location. We had an early morning train and hotel was right across the road from train station. The staff allowed us to park with a rental car to check in. Easy bus back from airport once rental car dropped off. Easy walk to main centre early breakfast was provided before leaving for the train. Great for one night 3 people

only complaint was this automatic light in the short hallway (right when you walk in) that comes on by motion sensor, and is VERY bright, so when I'd go from our bedroom to the bathroom in the middle of the night, it's way too bright (and tends to wake you up). Not an issue for my wife you doesn't get up to pee in the middle of the night. Would have liked a fridge in the room, but maybe the large fridge downstairs (that we discovered by accident) with water and space to put groceries or leftovers (one shelf per each of three units) was better, dunno.

Liked · decent walk from the train station, very quiet side street, new unit and clean. owner was super helpful and wanted to make sure our stay went well. the light fixture in our room came off the wall, we could put it back on, texted the owner and he came the next day and gave us more chocolate (which was on our bed and even more in the kitchen). I think he mentions plans to do some upgrades. Apart from the place, Venice is great, though we aren't personally into gondola rides, so many sights, no cars anywhere, tons of museums. We actually saw this super cool interactive art exhibit in the Museo Correr that probably less than 1% of visitors saw. Not enough time to hit everything (two nights only needed to get to northern Italy). Would stay here again when we come back.

The hotel was just opposite the train station and 5mins walking distance to the coach station and 10mins walk to the town very convenient. Breakfast was decent and taste good. Receptionist was very nice and helpful.

Breakfast with a lot of choices. The staff was very friendly and the location is excellent to explore the city and also to store luggage if you plan to leave Bolzano by train.
