We had a great time in Pavia and really liked the room! Everything was very clean and tasteful. Great and safe parking spot just outside of the lovely old town - even for bigger cars (VW Bus). We felt super welcome and Refael & Avital later sent us great recommendations for the city, which was perfect for us as we did not do much planning. We will definitely come back with more time to check out all the other hidden gems in Pavia :) Thank you!

Excellent! This apartment is very well maintained, ideally located, the on-site service is exemplary, and if you arrive by car, you have parking right outside in the sheltered courtyard. All of this contributes to this excellent rating, which is why we will book this apartment again and again when visiting Pavia and, from there, Milan.

Clean, quite, comfortable room within a short walking distance to the train station. Easy and enjoyable walking distance down main street to the city center. Friendly, knowledgeable and available host (Avital) who shared her insights on the history of Pavia, sites to see, local eateries and the best gelato!! Pavia proved to be an excellent home base for train travel day trips to many northern Italian cities.

The setting of the hotel was special, in an enclosed yard with adjacent parking. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a kitchenette. The hostess went out of her way to make sure we have all we need.

Extremely friendly and organised and helpful owners. The rooms spotlessly clean and well appointed. Spacious and plenty of room. Coffee in the room a nice and a welcome touch. Bed large and comfortable. Sweets outside a nice temptation I couldn’t resist. TV has many Chanel’s 2 minutes walk from station - 40 seconds walk to the Minerva statue then into Pavia old town

The staff went out of their way to be helpful to us. The location is very near to the station but only 15 minutes from the University, and is quiet and not on a busy road. The room was comfortable and very clean.

I highly recommend this hotel! I had a perfect stay. The room was lovely and comfortable, and Avital is incredibly welcoming and attentive, making the stay even better. I’ll definitely return!

The location of the hotel was excellent and the room had all the necessary amenities. Although no breakfast was available, the room had a coffee making machine, kettle, and microwave. The host also left some snacks for us. She was very welcoming and gave us very important information which made our stay in Pavia much more enjoyable.

I can't think of anything I didn't like.

Although I didn't travel by car, the courtyard offered secure parking. Within a five-minute walk from the train station, I had no trouble finding it. It's also a short walk from the center. The host was amazing, offering me detailed advice on where to eat -- and even a walking route, which I followed. The price was also right. I loved Pavia and would like to return. If I do, I'll stay here again.

Guests should be aware that there's no signage on the street or reception desk, so you need to be sure of the address, and have the phone number handy just in case.

The location is perfectly central, and the suites are idyllic. Ours was well fitted out with kitchen equipment, including a microwave, electric kettle and a quite large refrigerator. Our bathroom was also well equipped, including facecloths. The suite had a cosy atmosphere in which we felt at home. There was ample space for parking if you'd reserved in advance. Best of all was the warm welcome by the proprietors, who also gave us sightseeing tips and a list of recommended restaurants for dinner and breakfast.

I like everything! It is our second time to stay with our kind hosts within a couple of months; I would always book Avital’s suites if I have a possibility - it makes us feel at home.

This isn't a criticism, just a heads-up for fellow travelers. My driver from the airport couldn't get GPS to recognize the address, and there is no sign on the outside of the building, so it was just a but tricky to find. But if you look on Google Maps and go to "street view" you'll see two gates (pedestrian and vehicle) - that's the place. It's in a nice, quiet alcove, and it felt very safe. It's important to let the hosts know when you're arriving so they can let you in.

I liked the size of the room and the fact that there was a table and a desk. I'm doing research as I travel, so those spaces are important to me. The location was fantastic - so close to the train station, but also really right in the midst of the "action" in terms of the beautiful old city. Avital was such a friendly hostess - very responsive - very helpful with suggestions and information - just super sweet!

Nice central location with a spacious room, a clean and modern bath, and a very comfortable bed. The hosts accommodated our late arrival with grace. The shared large kitchen was well-equipped and provided a lovely place to enjoy breakfast purchased from an excellent local bakery. We only stayed for the night in transit, but we would have liked to stay longer.

We needed some nice place in center of Pavia for overnight stay and we have found R & A Minerva Suites as perfectly suitable for our needs. It's in the best location very near to the train station, in the same time there are plenty of parking spaces on the streets with quite low parking fee. We have been also offered paid parking spot inside the yard in case of problems with parking outside. The room was perfectly supplied, very clean and quite. The beds are comfortable. We have been offered fresh and cool water, there is also kitchen area where it's possible to cook something, as well as make caffe' and grab some snacks. There was also a coffee machine for our private use in the room. Communication line with the staff was nice and straightforward via WhatsApp. I highly recommend this place to stay during your visit in Pavia.
