Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

FranceWhile the overall experience was excellent, a couple of details could be improved. During dinner and breakfast, I was approached by several different staff members — sometimes up to five — which led me to repeat the same information multiple times. Each spoke in a different language, which, although impressive, made the communication slightly confusing. Additionally, I would have appreciated having coffee available at the breakfast buffet or self-service, rather than waiting for table service, which sometimes came with delays.
Hotel Punta Est is truly a gem in Finale Ligure. The setting is breathtaking, with stunning views of the sea and a peaceful, elegant atmosphere. The entire place feels thoughtfully designed, full of charm and character. The staff were especially kind and welcoming, always making an effort to create a pleasant experience. From check-in to dinner service, I felt well taken care of. It’s a place where you can really disconnect and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.

A lovely location overlooking the sea, set apart from the town but within easy walking distance of it. Well appointed comfortable rooms and excellent dining. Breakfast buffet is amazing. Dog friendly except in the swimming pool area, staff are very friendly and helpful. Owner takes a close interest in his guests, walking round tables during dinner. Lots of parking and several EV chargers.

SwitzerlandPoorly soundproofed rooms (had room close to the breakfast location) and no sleeping in Wish we would have gotten an introduction to the facilities (e.g. breakfast and dinner times +locations but also that there is a heated pool, a place to play pool and apparently a jaccuzi that we didnt see) Parking from the back side was a bit more difficult to find and there were narrow streets you have to go through.
The greenery and the views from the hotel Nice and comfy room. Clean. Friendly employees Parking at the entry is great 5 min from the beach (take your water-shoes) as beach has stones in the front
