The only downside of the apartment was the renovation of the facade of the building, which was organized by the municipality. But repairs don't last forever.

This is a small private hotel with 4 rooms. The great advantages of the hotel are a very hospitable owner, impeccable cleanliness and a convenient location. The owner, Olga, is very attentive to her guests, treats her with her own pastries (delicious!), lovingly provides all the necessary information for a tourist and, if necessary, even buys tickets for local transport. I am very satisfied with my vacation at Lido Centro. Grazie mille, Olga 🤗

The stairs could get a bit tiring, but it’s not such a big deal. It’s three flights up. My only regret was that it got booked up before I could extend. This place is a hidden gem, and it’s thanks to good management and caretaking.

One of the better B&Bs I’ve stayed at. The caretakers are generous, attentive, and professional people. They even made me a pizza and did my laundry free of charge. Thank you Mrs. Olga. The Wi-Fi was quite good and the room had everything one could want for a relaxed stay. The bathroom was nice too. The rooms are in a quiet flat, not loud in the evenings. Located right by Lido Centro so you have access to Rome easily. Ten minute walk from the beach. Restaurants all around open into the night.

There is some construction going on, so noise starts at 8:30 sharp. Again, not a problem if you plan to be up and about. View is to the internal courtyard, so not so attractive, but I was not there for the view. The units are on the 4th floor and there is no elevator. However there is one in the other side of the building which is accessible to the owner. So they can take your heavy bags up for you.

The property is located a few steps from the main train/bus station. As such it is very accessible via public transport, both from the airport and from Rome itself. The unit is small but adequate if you intend just to sleep there. There were some hangers missing, but the owner promptly corrected that. It has a common kitchen at the entrance with the possibility to store your own food in the fridge, which has a compartment for each unit. I have to mention Ms. Olga, the owner. She is very friendly and was in constant communication, giving me precious information about transport options and times,which made my stay much more productive and enjoyable. Thank you Olga!

Our stay at Lido Centro was a last minute decision after another B&B arrangement fell through. We feel fortunate that they had a room available. It was excellent to be able to communicate directly with the owners (vs an agency) and Nicola and Olga were most pleasant and helpful hosts. The shared kitchen arrangement worked well, allowing us to make our own breakfasts. The room and bathroom were well-appointed, and all was super-clean!

It can be noisy at night, but if you close the windows the noise is blocked.

Olga is absolutely wonderful. My family experienced a medical emergency while in Rome and Olga was so kind and thoughtful. She is an absolute gem. The room is very comfortable and the bathroom is updated. Everything is spotless.

Every need was met ! Nothing to complain.

The host was super friendly and welcoming from the beginning. The room is very carefully decorated and very clean. The bed was comfortable also. During our stay was very attentive and amicable. Just beautiful! We would love to come again, as the seaside is nice and Rome very easy to access from Lido di Ostia.

The "double bed" was actually two twins pushed together with a sheet over them, so there was a little gap in the middle, therefore was not so comfortable. The room is very clean but if you are sensitive to strong smells, the cleaning supplies and/or air fresheners (whatever they were) the host used were very powerful and a bit overbearing. The rooms depicted on the listing look spacious, but when I arrived the room we stayed in was just large enough to fit the bed, it was not easy to move around, and there was no seating area. The kitchen/refrigerator is down the hall and a shared space with the other rooms within the apartment- which is fine, just not expected based on the information provided in the listing.

I was a little bummed that Breakfast was not included in the price but the host put out snacks, coffee, and a bottle of water to help ourselves to.

Price /Value was extremely bad. I could have easily booked a better hotel room for a cheaper price. The price was raised extremely which was not fair. Any hotel would have been cheaper and better. Dont book above 100 Euros
