The sound of the toilet flushing from another room more noticeable during the quiet of the night but I am a light sleeper, this didn’t bother my husband.

The location was excellent well within walking distance to the Politeama, Teatro Massima and I Quattro Canti. The room was comfortable and clean and there were really nice toiletries in the shower.

The night we got there the receptionist was unhelpful, the breakfast staff did not offer hot drink refills, coffee was not good and the staff disappeared into the kitchen and hardly came out. we asked for milk for our room to make a hot drink and was told there was none and the coffee and tea in the room was never replenished.

The hotel was very clean, room was comfortable and felt very safe. The breakfast room was lovely.

A well located hotel with very friendly staff members and modern and clean rooms. The bathrooms and beds are confortable but the breakfast is rather basic in terms of ingredients and buffet options. Super nice people working in housekeeping, always smiling! We booked it because of the interesting rates (CHF 250.- per single room for three nights in June) and would return anytime again.

Our room was quite oddly laid out, with an empty 'hallway' between the bedroom and the bathroom. Our window looked into a gloomy, cluttered back area.

The common spaces, which we only discovered late on the day we arrived, are very attractive. We would have enjoyed spending time in this gracious area. The breakfast offerings are varied and good.

Do not disturb sign doesn't seem to stay on when the room is not occupied and no "do not distribute" door sign available in the room. Not helpful if you just want to be left alone for a day.

when we arrived for breakfast this morning, many tables had not been cleared and many items were missing from the breakfast choices. it seems that there are not enough staff. it was known that a large group required breakfast that morning and staff had not prepared for this. tea was asked for and arrived about 15 minutes later, the same thing happened when a second cup of coffee was ordered.

I was there twice within the span of a few days. Nonetheless late checkout was not possible on either occasion, not even the day that we had the meeting room rented. This is awkward, as I had to check out while still remaining in the hotel, and then not being able to change after the meeting. Most chain business hotels grant late check outs, so next time I will probably look for one of those

The room was much smaller than shown in the photos, and the bathroom was extremely cramped — I’m slim and still found it difficult to move around. The Wi-Fi required signing up with personal details purely for marketing/data capture, and even then worked only intermittently in my room. The elevator was noisy, awkward to use (you had to hold the button down for it to move), and was located right outside my room. The worst part was being told I couldn’t bring a friend to my room, despite paying the same as a couple — I was made to feel like I was doing something wrong for simply wanting to sit and chat with my friend in privacy to escape the heat.

The room décor was modern, the cleaners did an excellent job, and breakfast was acceptable. Location was good.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our experience. Just one week before our trip, Hotel Principe di Villafranca informed us that they were relocating us to a different hotel due to “logistical reasons.” The replacement hotel was in a completely different neighborhood and had a very different atmosphere - it felt outdated and catered mainly to tour groups, which was not what we had booked or would even consider to book. We found this last-minute change by Villafranca to be poor hospitality because it didn’t give us any time to react and we had to settle for where they put us.

We all were very happy with the property.

Excellent location close to all restaurants and points of interest in Palermo and the center of the city. The hotel was clean and the room was a bit small, but not cramped. Continental breakfast every morning. Love the sitting room where a cocktail or beer could be enjoyed among our group before going to our rooms. Very attentive staff. Secure parking available on the property, so no need to move the rental car. Quiet street.

The single rooms are not up to the standard of a 4 Star hotel, it feel like I was in a prívate dorm in a Hostel or in a much cheaper hotel, since it was not very well mantained. My first room did not have any wifi signal and there was a huge ventilation duct on top of it, I complained but they werent very helpful, the next day I asked to switch (since they did not offer it), I got moved to a room that faced a kindergarden (clearly very noisy), but at least it had internet signal, this room was more rundown, dirty walls and things like that. The staff seemed annoyed at me "complaining". I would not stay again, specially in a single room.

The hotel is nice in terms of facilities and is well located, the dining room and common áreas are well mantained. The cleaning ladies were also very nice and friendly. The double rooms seemed nice.
