This is an old and a little bit worn establishment. The elevator is small and the overall interior is a little sedated but clean. Price vs performance makes this place a good deal but if you want a fancy modern stay there are other places in Stresa... but then you have to pay considerably more.

Good location and close vicinity to Lago Maggiore and the beachwalk. Rather calm street and good restaurants near by. The breakfast was suprisingly good... not superfancy but rich and had the things you expect. The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms was clean, bed rather comfy and we had a small balcony (which allways is a plus).

I realize that there's not going to be AC at most European hotels, but some fans would have been nice as it as very hot during our stay - and that is coming from a lifelong US southerner.

In a precinct so not possible to park car adjacent to the hotel. But large car park on lake front just a 2 min walk, and possible to buy 24 hour tickets from hotel.

Good value hotel in excellent location, right in the old town. Plenty of cafe’s, bars, restaurants and shops and just a short walk to the lake ferries terminal.

When we arrived they'd made a mistake on what room we had booked. Reception lady could not sort it out and the Manager came who was extremely rude! The room we had booked was occupied, so he gave us a Villa up the road from the hotel which was very nice. His manner was awful!

Booking.com advertised the room with a balcony but I didn’t get a balcony. Primavera kindly gave me a small discount on my rate. The passageways could do with some TLC as the aircon and cupboard doors were falling off

Rooms and hotel itself a bit dated. And there's no reason to provide the cheapest one ply toilet paper available. Also the towels could do with being replaced.

I have stayed at this location on three occasions. However, this stay in room 434 was a little less as nice. The room need some paint in the room and the inside bathroom door trim looks terrible. They probably don’t know it but this has been bad for sometime.

The location was fantastic. Near many restaurants and cafes plus the ferries to the islands.

Very close to everything. A short walk to the boats and ferries. Lovely to be surrounded with lively shops, restaurants and the piazza nearby. Quiet. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is in a great location for wandering around Stresa. Despite this, it was really quiet at night. Even the nearby church bells wait until 8am to chime. The staff were always present and helpful. The breakfast buffet was varied, tasty and plentiful. We really appreciated being allowed early access to it on our last day when we had a very early start.
