How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewThe price, the sweet bread on the breakfast. The location is good and easy to reach.
The lift was not working and did not get offered help with suit cases. The parking was available but a bit unclear how to reach it. The air-conditioning was not working and that made it for a difficult night during summer. The breakfast was 20 mins late, which affected our plans. The pool was not clean.

Room smelly an the bathroom terrible with no window or functional fan, the room was cramped and small! There was no air conditioning! The pool dirty and the green plants were dead and dried very ugly pool environment, broken tiles and some water slugged in some small pools like 3 m away from the main pool, very nasty!

Verified reviewThe only bright spot of this hotel is the pool with very warm thermal water. The water was clean.
We didn't get the rooms we booked. There is dust and mold in the rooms. Everything is old and very poorly maintained. We watched the tall weeds around the pool for five days and couldn't believe that absolutely no one was in charge of mowing that grass and weeds.

The host didn’t provide me with the booked type of room. She doesn’t speak English and solve any questions about accommodation at all. Hospitality is ZERO level!! Instead of double rooms with private bathroom she gave the room in small building for stuff (not main building of the hotel) with shared bathroom. It was very cold in the room but she didn’t provide the blanket. She didn’t give even the towel! The room itself was very poor furnitured (no table and chair, no TV, no WIFI connection in that room) and dirty with broken windows and door handle. Moreover, it was only one key for 2 different rooms and for shared bathroom, so, I was not sure about safety of my luggage and other belongings. Thermal pool was in very bad condition, SPA didn’t work. In fact, it was my worst experience in staying the hotels via Booking.com. I stayed only 3 nights in this “hotel” instead of the reserved 6 nights. So, I really wait for money return from Booking.com and hope, they will exclude this hotel from cooperation.

Heating system did not work properly ( room was cold ) - Many insects inside the bedroom - They charged us 20€ for two pool towel ( in other hotels which I went in Abano Termeh, it was free ) - No fridge in the bedroom.

Verified reviewThe outdoor thermal pool is a gem. There are sunbeds, the area of the pool is behind the building so it's quiet. The water is clean and warm. Good variety of food for breakfast, with fresh veggies, warm dishes, tasty baked treats. Nice and welcoming service at reception and at breakfast. The place has seen more glorious days, still visible today in the selection of furniture in the entrance hall and restaurant. The room is a good size, definitely enough space for two persons to stay comfortably. I found the bed comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and are very grateful to the hosts.
