How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

A little noisy in the corridors
Excellent value, very helpful staff, and the rooms (ours at least which was a deluxe triple) has been refreshed since the photos on booking.com

Some furniture needs to be fixed and there is only the overhead shower sky of the shower and not the flexible shower head. But well, just small little things.
The location is so great, close to the main train station but not too close to have the hustle and business of it. The room got everything to sleep comfortably too

Hotel address in booking.com is wrong. We went to that address late evening when we arrived, and found a closed hotel! I called the hotel and spoke to the receptionist who spoke very poor English but eventually found out that we needed to go to another address as hotel has moved. Would be really useful if you update the address on bookings that you print out from booking.com! The shower was quite mouldy and the sink was clogged most of the stay.
Location was great - close to Termini station. Beds were good and clean.

The whole story was weird, if they texted me back ( because I asked them about my reservation) everything would be clear. But they didn't. The message I got about the money refund was like an option to choose....and I wanted to clarify it but they didn't answer. Or, maybe, they didn't see my messages, I don't know. Anyway, I am grateful that the owner didn't leave me without a place to stay.
Hard to say because I stayed somewhere else. Firstly, they told me to check in at different address, when I asked why, they sent an email which said that I can get my money back. I texted them that I don't want to cancell my booking. Since then, I didn't get any message/ reply from them. They just ignored me. When I arrived they told me that they don't have the room for me but in the app it was still " confirmed". They told me to call booking.com. Finally, the owner organized a room for me at his friend's apartment a few blocks away. It was a little bit stressful but ended well. The new apartment was called Tawhid apartments at via Milazzo 42. The owner is really kind and helpful. They didn't want any extra money. The room was spacious and clean.

The issue that we had was hot water during morning, so it was a bit difficult to take shower during the morning.
The location was perfect, it was few minutes away from Termini station. The staff were kind and helpful and the price was ok for what you get.

It took over 5 mins for the water to heat up for a shower
The rooms were clean and tidy. Only about a 5 min walk from Roma Termini

There was not hot water in the evening. Only a bit warm. We didnt mind though switching for a morning shower when the water was hot.
Very close to Termini (5-7 minutes walk). Very safe neighborhood even walking at night. Small, basic, very clean room! Friendly, helpful staff. A few nice breakfast/restaurant places nearby. Walking distance to major attractions (half hour). We didnt use any means of transportation to visit the sightseeings. But, we loved walking around!! Perfect for our 3 days visit. Only went back to the hotel late in the evening. Not suitable for someone who wants to go back and forth to the hotel . Practical, clean, safe. Absolute value for money!! Would def book again!

the door of the room did not close tightly, so at any external sound in the corridor, the door would rattle and bang.

Hotel is not very clean, our bed sheet was dirty and the towels were smelling very bad. That’s the thing we didn’t liked.
The location is perfect, near Rome Termini. Staff is very good and helpful, all the best for them.

Room was on the small side - not much space for luggage and other stuff. The hairdryer in the bathroom didn't work.
Decent location - it was really close to the train station (although you might want to consider something more northwest if you want something closer to the popular tourist locations). Checking in was nice and quick.

Nice hotel, very close to the central train station. The room was clean and towels were changed daily. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. There are numerous restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Overall a very decent stay for the price you pay.
