How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing negative to say about the hotel itself, but the restaurant is definitely one to avoid. While the food was acceptable, the service was extremely poor. We waited 30 minutes just to receive menus, another 30 minutes to place our order, and then another 30 minutes before the food arrived. We gave it a second chance, thinking the first night might have been an exception due to how busy it was, but the experience was even worse. My boyfriend’s pizza was served while we were still eating the appetizer, and my pasta arrived 20 minutes later—after he had already finished eating. This meant we barely ate together. Overall, it was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had. To sum up, I would recommend the hotel, but strongly suggest skipping the restaurant and dining in Porto Cesareo instead.
The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable, with fresh sheets and towels provided daily. The two girls at the reception and the breakfast attendant were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, as well as the girls cleaning our room. Breakfast was also delicious and satisfying, with various salty and sweet options. The gym was very big and well equipped with new machines.

Location was further from center and beach. Not walkable. You have to go by car. But parking is a nightmare.
Pool was perfect, enough shade and enough beds

The breakfast was good, but the choice and availability of seasonal fruit were insufficient. All the staff was very kind apart from the waitress serving breakfast in the morning: quite rude with many clients, definitely making our breakfast unpleasant. The bar is always open, but unfortunately, apart from water, beer, coffee, and some fruit juices, it does not offer anything else. All minor things, though. It s a very good place and definitely recommend it
New building, clean, beautiful swimming pool always accessible. Restaurant with a great choice and very good food. All personnel really nice (only 1 exception).

Was a little bit out of the main town so had to walk around 15 minutes to get there.
Staff were very pleasant and the facilities were modern and very clean.

We spent an excellent 3 days at Hotel Posidonia. The hotel is clean, modern and very welcoming, our room was always clean, spacious with AC and a big balcony. We paid for half-board accommodation, breakfast and dinner were exceptional with a lot of options to choose from. Props to the chef, who always cooked incredibly delicious meals for dinner! We would like to thank the staff for everything, they were welcoming, kind, helpful and polite from the very first minute! Definitely recommend the hotel to everyone who would like to spend quality time in Porto Cesareo!

We booked and paid in advance for a room with a balcony but were not given this. When we told them we were told that we had a Triple Room instead (as it was the same price), but this was not what we had wanted. We explained that a room with no balcony (ie. a Standard Room) was cheaper and we wanted a discount, but the hoteliers would not do this. We were not very happy as we had paid more than we should have done for the room we were allocated on arrival!
Location suited us as we were travelling along the coast and had just flown in that night. Breakfast was very good.

located on a busy road, loud traffic noise. very tight space in our room although other rooms looked a bit larger. Property still under construction, it did not interfere with our visit.
Clean, OkModern hotel, Staff was very accommodating, nice pool. good breakfast. 4 miles outside of town center

I wish I've read some opinions sooner. I choose this hotel because of the pool that I could never use. When the weather is bad, owners don't care about it. During my stay it was mostly sunny days so I can't understand that. The greatest disappointment was the fact that I heard twice that they gonna clean it next day.
Very good breakfast with local specialities :)
