Our Junior suite was a really great room. Very spacious and nice view of the water. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. The restaurant, Il Tridente, was also delicious.

Impossible to find

Having stayed at hundreds of hotels worldwide, I was genuinely impressed by the exceptional service from staff at every level. Our room offers breathtaking views over all of Positano - truly the best location to stay here. As an investor in premium hospitality, I can recognize outstanding operations when I see them. The hotel restaurant, pool, and bar all exceed expectations. The attention to detail and service quality feels like a solid 5-star experience, not 4-star. The breakfast was good but not great.

From start to finish the hotel staff and manager made us feel at home. They upgraded us upon arrival and even gave us a Dyson hairdryer to use throughout our stay. We loved the location and the pool area and the views were spectacular

The room is too plain, too much stairs to go there from the ferry port especially with the luggages but it was worth it after seeing the view

You cannot get more perfect than Hotel Poseidon! A beautiful, historic, charming and delightful hotel. Wonderful bed and linens. Very kind staff. Amazing breakfast — just wonderful. Perfect location in Positano — just a short walk to the center, but away from the bustle of the city. We love Hotel Poseidon. I will return and stay longer!

Food on the Amalfi coast generally can be a bit 'fine dining' and we found that was the case in the hotel restaurant. The quality was excellent, but compared with Rome, Florence and Bologna, it wasn't as much to our tastes. Also it took an age for us to find gluten free pasta. Just to emphasise - this is not a criticism of the hotel as much as the area as a whole.

The service at this hotel is exceptional. The staff are all friendly and helpful and very attentive. On top of that, the hotel is in a perfect location. The room was a good size and we had a great view over Positano. Being a family-run hotel, you don't get the standard features that you get in every chain. Instead there are personal touches everywhere, and it's very obvious that a lot of care has been taken.

Everything was perfect. Clean and very beautiful room. The view was incredibly and insanely beautiful. Staffs were polite, friendly and extremely helpful. Foods were amazing. 100 out of 10! The best stay in Italy for real.

Loved everything

Everyone made us feel like family, Margot and Aldo in the front desk made everything happen for us, from reservations at the restaurant to getting us a great deal on a private boat, to even our transportation back to Rome, the staff by the pool was incredible also, thank you to Christain, pretty sure that was his name, he looks like a Italian KEN DOLL, can’t miss him 😂 also the property itself is located close to everything. Although you should prepare to takes some steps. But the beach is close by and shops and restaurants. Just want to say a big thank you again to everyone, we came for our anniversary and thinking of making it our annual spot to celebrate every year 🫶🏽
