Unfortunally the Policy says that thry allow people untill 60 years old. I understand when people has very difficult health problems. According to this, I will not be accepted by september. Its a pitty.

I wasn't a fan of the bathroom though, I would have liked it if there was another toilet available say for instance outside of the bedroom, because a 6 person bedroom with just one bathroom can be inconvenient. Also, the distribution with the shower and toilet in the same space (separated like a stall for the toilet) left little privacy if somebody is taking a shower and you want to use the bathroom. Otherwise it was clean and good.

The Hostel is very nice, the beds are comfortable and there is a lot of space in the room, which is also very nicely furnished. There is a small bedside table very comfortable to put your most personal items and charge your phone, and it also has a lamp. There are drawers for storage and the usual locker. There is a small table with two chairs by a window if you want to use as desk or to eat. The shared area with the kitchen and table and sofa is also cozy. I liked that there was water available in the fridge for the guests. The location is excellent, basically next to the train station and walking distance to the city centre.

Beds are a little bit springy and even with aircon on it got pretty warm during the night on the top bunk. And there’s no curtains.

The only downfall was the location of this hostel, being around a 25 minute walk to the centre of Verona.

This property was clean, included all amenities needed and ticked all our boxes of a hostel.

only downside was the communication prior to check in. we were given a guideline of the times we were okay to enter which was fine, once we got there were told to message someone on whatsapp (not call) and we got zero response. thankfully we worked out which room was ours as it was the only en-suite available, but wasn’t ideal that no one was on hand to help us. all other communication was fine and staff were helpful, but worth noting for the check-in.

the room was very comfortable and aircon was good, ensuite bathroom was clean and modern. had a hairdryer which was good! lots of storage space, mini fridge with water provided. the location is great, right by the station and an easy walk into town. great value for money also! they also let us hold our bags in the room until 1pm for free which was massively helpful too.

The location was great. It was very close to the Verona Porta Nuova train station which made it quite easy to travel around the area, especially to towns nearby. The room and bathroom were very clean and there were staff coming to clean daily. It was great to have a small shared kitchen to fix some food quickly at the end of the day.

To be honest, if Verona had more accomodation options I wouldn’t book it. However for the limits it’s a better option. The rooms were quite warm (even when we were finally given the air con), staff hours are a bit strange making it hard if you have any issues, the first night I found it hard to meet new people however the second was better. One day they moved all my belongings, shoes and dirty clothes under the bed to on my bed. Clothes that were hanging on a chair all in one pile mixed with other people’s clothes across the other side of the room. It just felt more like a rented place (with shared rooms) than a hostel.

The kitchen was nice area to hang out in And it was always clean. The extra cupboard space for belongings were a good touch.

Staff will constantly move your stuff if it's not 100% to their liking. The way between city and hostel includes a short passage which made me feel very uncomfortable walking on my own in the evening. Daytime is fine.

As long as you're not checked in (don't have the keys yet) entering the building depends on your luck of a neighbor seeing you before the gate, opening the gate and the building door. Also after check out leaving the gate takes someome to buzz you out.

Although the way through the gate in front of the house depends on the neighbors seeing you wanting to enter or leave, getting into the hostel was very easy. The owner proactively sent me all entering instructions for when I wanted to check in. The hostel offers everything you need. You can make coffee/tea or fill your bottle with water at any time. The bath room is absolutely clean as well as the room you sleep in.

Communication isn't their strong suit, responses on Booking are lacking and WhatsApp replies take their sweet time. The bed was small and if you're not careful, you might end up headbutting the top bunk. My bed had no nearby outlet, and the only plug I found was already occupied, complete with a sticker warning not to unplug it. If you're hauling multiple bags, brace yourself! The place is on the second floor, and there’s no elevator.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to whip up a meal. The location is a dream for travelers, super convenient if you're taking the bus or train, plus it's an easy walk to the city center. Next to my bed, there was a handy little shelf for personal items, which is always useful. Lockers are available, so don’t forget to bring your own padlock for extra security! After check-out, you can still hang around the property for a bit, but if you need extended luggage storage, there’s a fee.

Great, little hostel where I stayed in the all female dorm. Other travellers were kind and respectful. Good crowd and not too noisy. Very clean and tidy! Bottom mattress could use an upgrade. Kitchen is very clean.

The mattress was very uncomfortable as previous guests had caused the memory foam to be uneven and sloping. It would be good to invest in better toilet paper as you get one roll and it gets used up quickly (e.g. if someone is sick, as was the case during our stay) and it's not always easy to get another roll. I didn't use all of mine during my stay so left it for others to use in the dorm toilet. I feel there should just be toilet paper in the toilet which is replenished when needed.

Everything was great at Posada Hostel from the location to the room and general running of the place. Friendly, helpful service, clean rooms and bedding, convenient storage locker and drawer for your belongings and good facilities in the kitchen and bathroom. I really like the system for guests' food and the fact that it reduces waste - what isn't used during your stay can be left for other guests. I also appreciated the well-sized bathroom which two guests at a time can use comfortably. I liked that each bed had a small lamp and power socket, with a small but functional shelf. Good and speedy communication from host for trouble-shooting minor problems, e.g. door not locking properly after opening. It seems like Posada attracts really friendly and kind guests so you will quickly feel at ease at this hostel. I really enjoyed my stay and it exceeded my expectations.

A lovely and spacious dorm room, always spotlessly clean. Lots of storage/hooks etc to put stuff which isnt always the case for a hostel. The owner was very communicative from the start. Only downside is you got one roll of toilet paper each (you could ask for more and it was provided but it sometimes ran out in the night or early morning - it felt weird to take your roll back with you!)

the price was brilliant and the location was great. i learned verona porta nuova isn’t the safest area for female solo travellers at night, but the property location was brilliant; 5 mins from porta nuova train station. it is, however, true that the shower will never be a good temperature and the staff are rarely there if you need something - but what do you expect at €22/night?😅

Everything was very clean and the facilities were excellent. I especially liked the bathroom setup, with shower, toilet, and sinks all separated. It meant very little waiting for the bathroom. There was lots of storage for stuff and the kitchen was nice as well.

The shower wasn't working properly (only very hot/very cold water). My personal belongings in my room were moved by the staff without notifying me. Also, you cannot be in the hostel between 11AM and 2PM due to the cleaning (the staff will explicitly tell you not to use any of the facilities and to preferably leave). The matrasses were very soft (not comfortable in my opinion). The rooms were quite cold. Heating was done by the airconditioning on high temperature, but this gave the room a stuffy feeling. Overall, the price is too high for what you get in my opinion.

The hostel is small, clean and the staff is helpful in giving tips about the area. The kitchen is well-equipped, with oil, spices, coffee and tea available for free. Close to the train station.
