First class hotel, beautiful pools, one indoor, one outdoor. Staff was super helpful with hiking information. The hotel, spa and common areas are better in person than the photos reveal. I would not hesitate to stay here again, this is the class of hotel we usually stay at. Nothing negative to say at all. Good restaurant, breakfast was good with lots of options. 10/10

No aircon in the room and no fans available to borrow - probably not usually an issue but we were there in a heatwave when it was 25 degrees and everyone struggled to sleep.

Perfect for exploring the dolomites. Breakfast was the best buffet I’ve had in a hotel. Room was really spacious and comfy. The pool and spa was excellent.

We found that the WiFi connection kept cutting in and out throughout certain parts of the hotel. There was also disruptive guests in the pool who were jumping and splashing people despite it being a spa and wellness centre but this is no fault of the staff.

The property was absolutely stunning and we had an amazing experience from day 1. The room was incredibly clean and spacious with fresh towels and a clean provided every day. The hotel facilities and spa were beautiful and exceeded our expectations. The interior and exterior of the hotel were fabulous and the view from the hotel room balcony and surrounding facilities was stunning. The hotel was in great location with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The hotel was also in a great locationt location in regard to accessing popular destinations such as Seceda and Alpe Di Suis. The staff were excellent and we felt the service from breakfast to late night drinks did not lessen. The stafff were so friendly and always willing to help and provide the best service. Overall, we cannot recommend this hotel enough and will definitely be back if we visit the dolomites in the future.

Our bed was a little uncomfortable and I missed my home comfort pillow. Apart from that, largely flawless.

Our second visit to Hotel Portillo. This time we had a classic double on the front of the property which was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. We were on a B&B basis and the breakfasts were excellent. The staff are all lovely friendly and helpful. The spa is one of the reasons we returned to the hotel, it is great and never too busy in our experience. Lounging in the outdoor pool looking up at the snowy Dolomites in the sunset a particular delight.

This spot is a 10/10. The staff are so friendly and the rooms are spacious with beautiful views. We felt it was great value for money and loved using the spa after a long day on the slopes. The food at the hotel restaurant was brilliant- the Milanese was spot on! We did a big friend’s trip The bar area was great for cards and laughs! Would highly recommend.

First of all I would like to thank you for the room we were given. It was a very nice gesture. I think the hotel was one of the best I have stayed in. The service was very nice, the breakfasts were delicious and the room was clean. There is a beautiful spa with pool and sauns. Our room was furnished like a mountain cottage which was very nice and we spend an unforgettable time there. And finaly thank you for the gift.

Our stay was exceptional. We arrived late owing to snow, but the excellent staff kept the kitchen open for us long past normal closing time so we didn't go to bed hungry. The hotel was clean and really very pleasant throughout. The spa was great, breakfast was great and the staff were brilliant. We left saying that Hotel Portillo not only exceeded our expectations, but was actually probably the most relaxing hotel we'd ever stayed in

Hotel is located in beautiful Selva di Val Gardena. Property has amazing mountain design with elegant indoor swimming pool and outdoor heated pool with Mountain View. Great location for hiking. Loved it.
