The room was well equipped and very comfortable, it was spotlessly clean and the location of the hotel was perfect. It was a perfect base to explore Vieste and the beautiful coastline from. Our host was very helpful and knowledgeable of the area, we felt very welcome and able to ask for help and recommendations on parking and boat trips thank you very much we've had a lovely stay!

Location of as fabulous in the old historical centre and surrounded by bars, restaurants and very close to beach. Breakfast was via a voucher to a bar close by and overlooking the sea. No hesitation in recommending Andrea and the property Excellent rating overall

There was nothing we personally didn’t like. The only thing that might not suit everyone is that the streets around the hotel can get quite lively in the evenings. We actually enjoyed the atmosphere, but it might not be for everyone. That said, the rooms are extremely well insulated, once you close the shutters and windows, it’s completely quiet and you’d never guess you’re in the middle of a bustling area.

Our stay was truly excellent. Giving a hotel a 10 might seem exaggerated, but Andrea and his team have really created something special here. The location is perfect, just a one-minute walk to the beach, and equally close to fantastic restaurants and the historic old town of Vieste. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated. Breakfast is served by a nearby café right next to the hotel, it’s simple but delicious, with a stunning sea view from the terrace.

Call, email or message for exact directions on arrival as once you arrive the location is not obvious. There's just a few steps to bring luggage up to the entrance but no problem and Andrea was there to help if needed.

Portamarina is a newly renovated property that made us feel quite at home with a very clever layout. Our room had a view of the sea and lighthouse, quite beautiful. Even off-season in November, we found some great places to eat but very peaceful with no crowds. They have an agreement for breakfast and coffee at a bakery right across the street which was really nice, you can sit inside, outside or walk across the street to sit on the water. Andrea was very professional and helpful, gave us some great advice for walking and driving trips.

If we had stayed longer!

We liked everything. Vieste is a special place - beautiful and historic, with great atmosphere. Portamarina rooms have an excellent location - near the water but close to services and the old quarter, fun to explore. The rooms are lovely, comfortable, calming, spacious, everything works well. We had the Deluxe room with balcony and sea view (best room) and were very happy with it. The included breakfast at a very close-by cafe is just croissant, orange juice and coffee, but that will work for many people (we bought yogurt and nuts at a grocery store to supplement). Andrea is a wonderful host - full of useful information and very caring.

Location is perfect, close to the old part of town and with many options for dining or just drinks on the square or overlooking the beach (<1min walk). Breakfast was light and friendly overlooking the beach - perfect.

The accomodations were very clean, modern and spacious with great views. High quality finishes of the rooms and lobby with extremely kind staff. Andrea was second to none in helping us orient ourselves in Vieste with great recommendations. He cared deeply in ensuring we had a great experience and we plan to be back. The breakfast was delicious with a view you could not beat. The location was city center, with easy acces to the beach and city. Parking was also very convenient.

There was little noise coming from the hall of the hotel to the room. Breakfast which was provided by a cafe outside had a bit rude staff.

Room was really beautiful with lovely view and the location of the hotel was amazing. Bed was really comfortable and there was no noise from the street. Also the room provided proper blackout. All the staff was really amazing!
