Everything! The host was amazing! We were not able to pick up our rental car as planned so he drove us to the train station. He went out of his way so many times to make us feel at home.

We had the most amazing stay at Poggio Olive: beautiful location with stunning view, a very welcoming host, great pool, and many opportunities to explore the region. Absolutely recommended if you’re looking for a warm and welcoming place!

Unfortunately due to the nature of a split villa the upstairs guests can be noisy. I am very sensitive to noise so if this is you book the bigger apartment upstairs. We were eaten alive by mosquitoes as we always are in Italy, definitely take some sprays.

The most kind host, mouthing was too much trouble. We arrived very late due to a delayed flight and an error in our sat nav, and it was no trouble we had a happy smiling face waiting for us when we eventually arrived. Our son loved the pool, parking onsite was easy. Everything was very clean in the room, towels provided. Lovely little patio with table and chairs. Lots to do in the local area we had fun exploring and taking day trips, and also a few days just relaxing by the pool.

Raffaele was the ultimate host, smiling and very pleasant. He helped us with our entire trip in the area and gave us great tips. The Agriturismo is very beautiful with a fabulous view. Highly recommend

We had such a wonderful stay! The little welcome basket of spreads was a thoughtful touch that made us feel right at home. The apartment itself was incredibly spacious and every room had air conditioning. We happened to arrive on a public holiday and couldn’t collect our hire car — but Raffaele went out of his way to personally pick us up. He also shared fantastic local recommendations and even called ahead to book us into some lovely restaurants. His hospitality truly went above and beyond. The pool was a highlight — we spent many relaxing afternoons there, soaking up the sun and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The view from the property is absolutely breathtaking. Each morning, a bakery van arrived with freshly baked pastries — such a treat! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The unit was quite spacious for the two of us, and there were a number of areas around the property we could sit, relax and take in the stunning views. The Tuscan views and location were exactly what we needed, this property is the star of our trip, Raffaele is a close second. He provided us with a homely family feeling and gave us so much information of the area. Raffaele helped to book a local lunch and wine tasting for our anniversary, he also left some local treats in the apartment and gave me a special gift when he noticed it was also my birthday. The pool was clean and the property well kept, we appreciated the facilities to barbeque some local meat. The local bakery van stopping by in the mornings is definitely a value added touch.

He sent us a list of recommandations for restaurants and things to do in the area and everything we did off his list was incredible. Rafaelle - our host - was amazing! He gave us a super welcome and was available every day to ask if we needed any help with anything from hiring bikes to restaurants to ideal places to visit. We arrived as strangers and left as friends. We shall be going back soon. The garden and location are wonderful as is the swimming pool. A fabulous stay.

A stunning Tuscan villa located just outside of Montepulciano. Our two bedroom apartment suited our family of 4 perfectly. We all slept extremely well in the peaceful apartment and loved having the cooking and washing facilities. The pool was beautiful and well maintained however it was too cool for us to swim. Our kids loved the play equipment and bikes that were available to them. We also loved the bakery van that comes every morning (except Sundays) where you can purchase fresh baked goods. Raffaele is such a wonderful host, going above and beyond to ensure all guest have everything they need.

The house is cozy, very clean, with authentic decor and everything needed for a comfortable stay. It was an absolute gem of a place. The appartment and the whole house and the surrounding area are in the authentic Tuscan style. So many cute spots to hang out and enjoy a glass of vino. Raffaele is the most warm and likable host we’ve ever had. He will go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, thank you again for everything. The location is also perfect to explore Val D’Orcia and the Montepulciano regions. Hope to return someday.
