A perfect blend of location, hospitality, views and accommodations. It is safe, romantic, unbelievably beautiful, comfortable, accessible and so much more... It was home away from home! The location is perfect if you are looking to unplug and explore. So many villages a short drive away and only an easy hour drive from Florence airport. It is the perfect location to escape the normal cold hotel atmosphere and experience warmth. Christina was so welcoming, made sure we were comfortable and felt at home. We did not have enough time to experience everything the farm offers but did try and purchase the delicious olive oil made right on the property, the best I've ever tasted and had to take some home to share with our family and friends. I highly recommend the Convivial dinner, sharing a family style delicious home cooked farm-fresh meal and making new connections. Hard to describe our favorite part... The landscapes are simply magical, the charm of the buildings, the stunning vineyards, or the presence of Christina's friendly pup, Waking up to the breathtaking views from our room window, vineyards, and olive groves and the peace and quiet felt was an out of this world experience all together!

No iron or steamer in the room but Christina did say she had an iron

    Italian winery at its best.

We unfortunately didn’t get the group dinner or cooking class as the timing didn’t match. Was unfortunately what we came for so that was disappointing, however the location and room were great! Plus the grounds are lovely

It was absolutely wonderful. It was like gladiator heaven. Green and beautifull wine are and very lovely rooms that seems to me out of another time. The owner created us small tables of antipasti and pasta and had some great wines in a very private surrounding. Absolutely lovely for couples as well as groups.

Stunning and quiet location with a lovely host

Very little! Single use sachets for shower products are not very environmentally friendly sadly so would improve this

Wonderful place in the hills of chianti. A romantic and peaceful place to relax drinking excellent chianti classico produced by their own vineyards. Cristina is an amazing host who makes you feel welcomed since the first minute you arrive. Great wine tasting experience with Giovanni, the agronomist who takes care of the vineyards and wine production!

    Everything was perfect.

The most amazing stay in the Tuscan countryside. Isolated and surrounded by the beautiful vineyards and hills. Our room was big and had everything we needed. Breakfast is really good and includes fresh cakes, meats and cheese, yogurt, cereal, toast and jams etc and eggs on request. Cristina and her staff are the most warm and friendly people and can organise platters for a picnic, cooking classes (book ahead), wine tastings of their own wines and more. You’ll need a car and can also visit so many nearby towns during the day and for dinner. Spend the little extra and book!!!

    Nothing

Our second stay here for many reasons: we really like the property, the owner (Cristina), the rooms, the food and the fellow guests. It is very rural, quiet and beautiful, an oasis of peace while traveling. Many choices exist for rooms and settings. Property has an elevator, and free private parking.

We were sad that Cristina was only present our first and last days. She is a wonderful spirit, never too tired to be sociable.

My hubby and I loved everything about our stay! Spacious rooms, beautiful views, and very kind staff. We especially loved the convivial dinner with the other guests and Christina. We didn’t know anyone when we first arrived at dinner, but we all became fast friends at one long table. We are grateful for the sweet memories made at Podere. We hope to come back! Grazie!

Wow wow wow. This is the ultimative place to experience Tuscany!!! Christina is the best host ever. She helped us plan our trip in the area, tips for wineries, helped us book restaurants and did the wine tasting with us. I highly reccomend to do the wine tasting in the winery of the Podere!!! The location of the podere is great close to great restaurants and villages to explore (and wineries!!). The view arround the house is one of a kind. You need to see it to really understand! We felt in a movie!! Plan some time to stay in the podere to drink wine on the terrace, its an amazing experince. Breakfast is wow. The bread and pastries are made cooked in their beutifull profesional kitchen. The room is comfortable and not fancy, you have everything you need to feel at home. We will stay here again for sure! CHRISTINA THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!!

    Everything was beutifull

The first morning the breakfast was held on the upper patio (usually at a Ingrid restaurant 0.5 km away) due to issues at the Ingrid. They worked extra hard to serve everyone that morning given the circumstances. Well done.

Shower was a little small for my 6'-2" (188 cm) frame. But I squeezed in.

It was by far one of the very best accomodations through my travels

We love the Tuscan countryside and this hotel is way in the country! It is a rustic, charming, large farmhouse that has been modernized in the rooms, but kept authentic in the common areas. The owner, Christina, is simply amazing! She is busy running a winery, a farm and a hotel, but she always takes time for a wine tasting, advice and just conversation. Our room looked out onto fields, hills and sheep in a distant pasture. The hotel is close to Panzano, an easy ten minute drive, which is home to some amazing restaurants and a great winery Il Molino di Grace. If you are lucky, Christina will agree to cook dinner for all guests who are interested. We had guinea fowl, duck and chicken and it was one of the highlights of our trip. This place is not to be missed!

This is a complaint about our car's GPS in not being able to find our hotel. We had to depend on AppleMaps to guide us there. My advice- don't give up, just do whatever you have to do to get there!
