We stayed at Podere Fontanino this July and had a truly relaxing and memorable experience. The property is beautifully located just outside Arezzo, with only four rooms, which makes it feel intimate and peaceful. After hot days exploring the area, coming back to cool off in the lovely pool (with a view) was perfect. Our room was beautifully appointed, with great air conditioning (very welcome in summer), a comfortable bed, a great shower, and a mini bar stocked for convenience. Every morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with homemade pies, local specialties, made-to-order eggs, fresh juice and cappuccinos. What made the stay special was the warmth of Andrea, the owner, and his daughter. Andrea has the kind of energy that makes you feel like you're visiting an old friend. He was always happy to share great recommendations for places to visit, restaurants, and nearby landmarks, and we had some lovely, relaxed conversations with him throughout our stay. If you're looking for a no-frills, no-BS kind of place to unwind and enjoy the Tuscan countryside, this is it. We would absolutely go back and recommend it without hesitation.

The environment is wonderful, Andrea and her family are incredibly friendly, hospitable, attentive and helpful. The breakfast is plentiful, the rooms are clean. We got everything that was in the description and even more😊👌👍 I definitely recommend it.

Fantastic host s, breakfast, beautiful property, great sauna. Andreas could not have been nicer talking us wherever we needed and producing suggestions for food and sights.

Getting around the shower and bathroom was a little tight

Amazing stay! Andrea and his family are very welcoming, caring and hospitable. We’ve been provided with everything mentioned in the description and many extra, since Andrea is very thoughtful and caring. Beautiful garden with stunning valley views. Perfectly clean and nice room with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Delicious breakfast made of fresh local products & great cakes made by Barbara. We arrived without a car, and it was a perfect location for us since there are couple of good restaurants available by walking and this agroturismo can be reached by Arezzo taxi as well. Wifi is fast. Nice infinity pool, sauna is also available. We enjoyed our stay and family hospitality. If you visit Arezzo and surroundings, we strongly recommend this agroturismo.

The property was beautiful, rooms were clean, and the breakfast was exceptional. The owners were knowledgeable, kind, and very helpful. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway, this is the location to choose.

Wonderful and attentive hosts, beautiful house with comfortable stylish rooms in most beautiful Tuscan countryside. Sauna, infinity pool, gardens, a stream, delicious homemade breakfast - a dream vacation.

Our host Andrea was extremely nice and went out of his way to help us out. Our travel was delayed due to a train strike and he spent time making calls to figure out what trains would still be running, changed his schedule to pick us up a day later when our train ultimately arrived, and helped us rent a car. He also let us stay an extra day at the end of our stay to make up for the day we missed at the beginning. He also gave us a ton of recommendations for places to see and restaurants to eat. Overall he was excellent. We loved the homemade breakfasts and local wine selection they had. The view from the pool is beautiful and was just what we were looking for in a relaxing stay in the countryside.

Andrea was a fabulous host and makes you feel right at home! He provides great resources from where to eat and what to see in the surrounding area. I highly recommend and the next time I visit Arezzo, I will be staying at Podere Fontanino!

This stay was so beautiful and surpassed our expectations! The food was also delicious and our host was incredible helpful and kind.

You definitely should rent a car if staying here. Our host was very kind and drove us to and from the train station and dinner, but the car would aid in exploration.

A 10 all around! From the friendly, attentive staff to the beautiful pool, the fabulous homemade breakfast and the cosy bedroom. We loved how "intimate" the place was, with only 4 rooms sharing this little corner of Tuscan paradise. Also appreciated was the great restaurant up the road, within walking distance for lazy days when we didn't feel like getting in the car -or wanted an extra glass of wine with dinner! Andrea and his family are full of little attentions to make our stay relaxing and practical. We would be back in a heartbeat.

The property is beyond beautiful! The rooms are just perfect and the hosts go above and beyond to make it the best stay. It’s a fantastic location to explore Tuscany and Arezzo is the most beautiful town.

Comfortable, relaxing, great space to get away from the overly touristy areas in Italy. You can tell the family puts their heart and soul into their work. Andrea and his wife are exceptional - very friendly, and helpful. Highly recommend!

Relaxing, comfortable atmosphere with all the amenities one needs.

The property had a sense of love about it. The property manager was brilliant and very on the ball with check in, explaining the accommodation, and the grounds were immaculate. Everything is well kept and super clean. Amazing home cooked breakfast... Especial thanks for Andrea for rescuing us with a broken car:) The pool and garden were very relaxing. The pool has an amazing view and is being cleaned every morning by the owner. It’s better than on the pictures Definitely would recommend and would stay again thank you!

Beautiful house, garden, pool area, room, great breakfast, all the perfect little details…. But the true gems are the owners - incredibly welcoming, attentive, helpful and friendly. We loved every minute of our stay!

We love it. It’s better than on the pictures. Everything is new, clean, very good quality. Breakfasts amazing, diffrent each day. Home made cakes too. Large choice of wines.

The room was super clean, and the bed so comfortable. Shower had good pressure and nighttimes were really quiet. One of the best hairdryers I’ve used when away. Rooms were cleaned everyday and clean towels for both shower and pool were provided, and changed whenever we asked. The infinity pool was amazing. Our host Andrea was very friendly and made every effort to make sure we had a good stay. Breakfasts were lovely, with fresh pastries and cakes baked on the premises. Eating places close by which were amazing value for money and served good food. A great position with lots to go and see. We have already recommended this b&b to friends and would love to stay again soon. A huge thank you to Andrea, his family and staff.
