The propriety is really nice. We really enjoy our stay and the hosts were helpful and kind. Restaurants close by are nice and recommendations were helpful.

Is nothing to do with the propriety, just to point that best way to enjoy your stay is with a car as the bus is a bit far and with the hotness is not nice to walk.

It is a real 400 year old totally remodeled Tuscan villa, just like in the movies! You get all the history with all the modern conveniences. Surrounded by many wineries, close to the public transport to get you to the heart of Florence. Beautiful sunsets from the second floor windows.

Greeted by wonderful and friendly hosts who showed us the property. The property was clean and very comfortable for my family. It was easy to access and not far from the city. Would definitely stay again if we return to Florence. Thanks for hosting our family.

    Property response:

Thank you so much for your kind words! It was truly a pleasure to host such a wonderful and kind family. You are always welcome in our home, and we would be delighted to host you again if your travels bring you back to Florence. Warmest regards!

Reasonably Quiet location on outskirts of Florence. Set in an old farm house that has been divided into apartments. Original features well preserved but modern facilities. The owners were very helpful. Good air conditioning through out the apartment.the Tramvia is an excellent way to get around.

The outdoor furniture was severely lacking. There is a lovely patio and garden but only two uncomfortable deck chairs to sit in. The dining table has only bench seating. The TV was 20 years or so old and broke while we were trying to watch the Olympics. Hopefully it will be replaced with a more modern device.

Thanks for your review. We were expecting guests from the United States and were pleasantly surprised to find two travelers from New Zealand who discover the world together and have been to Florence for the first time 30 years ago. We were pleased that you chose our house to return to after so many years. I'm sorry you didn't like our deckchairs. Until now all the guests appreciated them and spent their evenings enjoying the sunset, relaxing under the loggia or sunbathing in the garden. The TV was rather a historical piece than a device for watching television. We didn't give much importance to this aspect. Our idea of the holiday home was more oriented towards the history and nature of the place, towards pleasant evenings outdoors. Thanks for your suggestions. We will certainly try to improve the aspects that did not satisfy you to give more comfort to future guests.

Property was located near Broncigliano and made for a nice Tuscany experience. In speaking with Alina, we were informed that the property was approximately 400 years old which amazed us. Gated for privacy, the residence was exactly what I was looking for in the Tuscany reason.

I always dreamt to stay in such a house. It is sort of country side , with nice garden, very old house in the style of a manor. Beds were comfortable, we were a bit chilly when we arrived (end of April), but the house got warm quickly with a bit of AC and did not need it after.

Since it is not aesthetic to such a house, the windows do not have mosquito nets, so not sure how it is with mosquitos during summetime when you need to vent a lot more.

Wonderful location and large enough for the 7 of us. The property was very well furnished, clean and comfortable.

We got delayed on the way to the property - late fee of 20 Euros per hour for checkin was a surprise. But accept the explanation of the owner that this is accommodate for their extra time. Would be nice if this was more explicit upfront.

    Property response:

Thank you for your review. It was a pleasure to meet you and host you in our holiday home. We did not charge any guests to check in after hours. We understand very well that there may be traffic on the road, planes arrive late or trains run out of schedule. We only ask that you notify us and agree on this thing. I'm sorry that you were surprised because the rules are written on our announcement and in addition they are sent at the time of booking. Just read them and respect them.

A true Tuscan experience. Aside from the very authentic and beautiful house, the kitchen was well equipped with dishes, pots and pans. It also had a large refrigerator which is great when traveling with kids. The washer was a life saver with lots of place to hang clothes out to dry. Large yard for the babies to run around. Comfortable beds. Clean house. Amazing views and kind and friendly hosts. Felt very safe with large remote control gate. Great parking for the car.

Nothing bad to say. Just an overall great experience.

We stayed at Podere Fichereto during a family trip that included two seniors, and we absolutely loved the Tuscan atmosphere of the property and its cozy garden. The owner made us feel very welcome and explained everything we needed to know. The only thing to keep in mind is that there are some stairs to the bedrooms, so it may not be the best fit for grandparents who have difficulty with stairs. However, if that's not an issue, it's a fantastic place to stay.
