The only issue but not really important was that the hot tub wasn’t really cleaned ( leaves, soil and branches) but I guess has just been used for a wedding the previous day.

The atmosphere was amazing just really close to the beach and seemed in the middle of nowhere at the same time. Great distance from the town and easy to reach from the highways. Rooms were great and so comfy. Swimming pool like a dream.

Here are my comments, perhaps also suggestions for improvement - there are no real points of criticism: it would be very nice if a large fridge were established to match the Olmaya Deluxe Suite which I booked for my son with his family. A bidet was missing in our terrace apartment (it would be nice to either retrofit it or mention the lack in the room description so that guests are aware of it before booking). It would also be desirable to send each guest a short description of how to get there with the booking confirmation, as the Podere is somewhat difficult to find by car.

Very spacious, well-maintained complex with great vegetation. Charmingly furnished apartments in a subtle Mediterranean style. Very nice, large pool, which was almost always empty in the off-season as the water was very fresh. Very well organized car parking place. A washing machine that works by chip insertion (buy at reception). The entire complex is very dog-friendly! The breakfast for 12 euros is of very good quality, but has a limited selection. The location of the Podere Conte is great for excursions in the surrounding area: Castagneto Carducci (charming mountain village) and Bolgheri (great food and wine). A trip to beautiful Lucca is about 1 hour away and is definitely worthwhile.

despite being clean and with comfortable beds, the room did not have a wardrobe, so everything was always scattered between floor and a little table. The main light was not functioning, and the room was always in the dark, only the bedside table lights were functioning. Limited supply of shower gel in the bathroom

Breakfast was very good, plenty of salty and sweet choices, all home made, marmelade, cheese, bruschette , juices etc. Eggs made to your choice on the spots, nice coffee. The garden is kept very well, it is very large and beautiful, lots of nice trees, it is a pleasure to walk around. The pool is large and well kept, clean, lots of gazebos and trees to stay in the shade, if you like. Excellent to relax around the pool and read a book

Location - it is quite remote. There is a 15-20 minute walk to the nearest piece of civilisation/town. If I was to be ultra critical, the room's A/C unit disappointed. The air was not cold enough to sufficiently cool the room. Therefore the room was uncomfortably warm, especially at night trying to sleep.

The breakfast was very good. Plenty to eat. Fresh coffee and lots to choose, with a hot option of eggs. It is a quiet and tranquil location. Plenty of sunbeds and shade with an equally inviting pool.

Unfortunately there were several things to improve, especially given the price: - wifi does not work at all in the apartments - the air conditioning, even at the highest speed does not cool down and the rooms are very humid - the apartments are not equipped, not even a sponge and soap to wash the dishes, no coffee offered, no cleaning supplies - we did not have breakfast so we cannot comment on the quality of it, but 13 euros per person is really too much

The design of the entire place is very pleasant, and the outdoor areas are beautiful. It’s perfectly located close to the beach while offering the peace and tranquility of the countryside.

The pool towels were not provided The behavior of some members of the staff (wide room of improvement for kindness in liaising with customers) The price of the stay should be revised when the swimming pool is not available due to private events despite the disclosure about the date of non availability
