Fabulous location, premises and staff! Right at the centre of the old town and yet quiet and relaxing with a wonderful large sitting room. Just a short distance from lovely places to eat, and the lake front. Lovely historic building, lots of character and comforts! Amazing breakfast- so much to choose from and enjoy!

The location of the hotel is great, so close to the restaurants and shops. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and catered well for gluten free guests. It was wonderful to be able to have a swim too. The parking setup was very handy as we had driven there.

Nothing - everything was brilliant.

The 15th century hotel's location was excellent - right in the centre of Cannobio just a stones throw from the lake shore and all of the restaurants. The room was ideal with a balcony looking out over the lake and the breakfast was superb. The staff were very friendly and very sympathetic when we had to suddenly curtail our stay as a result of our flight being cancelled.

Nothing to dislike

Beautiful old building in a prime position. Really spacious and comfortable room with private balcony plus large shared lounge area with complimentary tea and coffee. Free secure parking a short walk away. Not suitable however for anyone with limited mobility as located on a steep cobbled hill and lots of steps within the property. Really friendly welcoming staff at reception and in the breakfast room.

Reception was the best. Staff is so friendly and accommodating! The location was right in Cannobio a few steps away from the lake and historic center. Surrounded by shops and restaurants. Secure parking was a plus for us. Breakfast was delicious and plenty to chose from. Even hot scrambled eggs. The building inside has so much history. Accommodations where wonderful and it was quiet.

It is really difficult where to start - everything exceeded all expectations. Starting with the staff, every single one, super friendly, very attentive and always ready to help. The building is an absolute beauty, everything is in excellent conditions, the interior architecture is just beautiful, everything is more than well maintained. The breakfast left nothing to be desired, it was delicious, high quality. Overall, this hotel is a top recommendation and we will surely be back one day. Thanks to all the staff!

Bellissima casa storica del Quattrocento ( 15th century or 15. Jahrhundert ) very well restored with a lot of sense for its age and history, in the very centre of Cannobio. Good parkings over and under ground ( reservation recommended ). Practically all rooms different and very individual, many with balconies and lake view. Very friendly and helpful staff, good beds, rooms all very clean, good breakfast buffet. Easy contact in several languages. Room rates not cheap but rooms worth their price.

I had absolutely no complaints.

The place has a period feel to it whilst having all modern amenities. The hotel is full of character and is in a great location. The staff were exceptionally friendly but also effective. Car parking was straightforward with secure covered parking bays a short walk from the hotel. I had a great time at Hotel Pironi - thank you so much, guys.

Only downside (minor) was there is no onsite vehicle access, however free parking nearby is provided.

Fantastic hotel in a great location. Property has been tastefully restored to retain its original charm yet provide all modern conveniences. Lovely breakfast a wide range of options included in room rate. Centrally located to lakeside dining options and town centre. Can’t fault this lovely hotel.
