Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

UkraineWe had half board and the food was at most average. During dinner the buffet with side dishes was in one small corner which created a huge queue.
Very convenient location, rooms are a bit old but clean, comfortable beds.

AustraliaStaying at the hotel doesn’t mean you can drive further up the mountain (between 9-5). Since most of the guests arrive by car this should be made obvious to the guests.
Location, comfortable room with balcony over looking the mountain. Very good breakfast and dinner included with the room - excellent value. Onsite parking.

CanadaIt seems like a long drive from the main highway, but it is well worth it to explore the Alpe di Siusi which has lots of great trails to walk and beautiful mountain scenery. The dinner was quite good and plentiful and included a salad bar with lots of options. Despite the hotel being quite busy, I found the rooms to be quiet and with good sound proofing.

We appreciate for letting us stay in two nice adjoining rooms, with varendas facing the magnificent Schlern/Sciliar. We were impressed by the mighty massif while driving past the village of Siusi, and get more impressive atmosphere when arrived at parking lot of the hotel. The half board was fine. A friendly waiter advised us to join the buffet. Having fresh salad made a perfect dinner. Room warm, bed comfy, WIFI Strong. Very abundant breakfast, although vegetables were missing. Next visit should be a booking for 2 nights or more to increase opportunities of discovering the Alpe di Siusi, without problems of luggage storage after checking out.

New ZealandBe aware the Seiser Alm has traffic restrictions to it. You can go up as a guest but can’t back and forth during the day. If the weather isn’t great there’s not a lot to do so staying at the bottom of the cableway might be a better idea. Would have been nice to have ability to make a drink in the room - tea/coffee etc. Limited English spoken so if this bothers you then maybe not the best place to stay.
Location is great if you have good weather to explore the Seiser Alm. Half board option was good value for money and food was good. Not many other options for places to eat in the off season so eating in the hotel makes sense. Room warm, bed comfy and good views

Lithuania-The bathroom upon arrival had hair in shower & on toilet.
The hotel’s location was very good, close to a bus station and the cable car. Close by to a lot of cafes/restaurants and hiking/biking trails. Views are simply amazing. Upon arrival it was easy to check-in although the staff do not speak a lot of English or German but for me it wasn’t a problem. The price was only for one night but also included half board which was very good value for money. The room is big enough for one person and is very nice, had a terrace and was very clean. Dinner was also great, during check-in they let you choose what you would like to eat for dinner. They had many options on the menu. Dinner was very simple, yet very tasty, I enjoyed all the courses and felt full at the end. Breakfast also contained many options, it was a self- service buffet which was fine because there wasn’t many people there at the time. Overall, a great experience. Perfect location for a one-nighters but would also come back for a longer stay!

United KingdomWe had a less than friendly welcome from the owner/manager lady. It wasn't a great introduction to the hotel. Language can be a barrier if you are not Italian/German guests but we immediately felt uncomfortable and unwelcome like we'ddome something wrong. Seemed to be a weird management vibe with staff also. The other staff were lovely and kind and would be far better on reception dealing with welcoming guests to the hotel with good communication and friendly nature.
Dinner was included it seems for all guests so check your price includes food. Hotel was excellent value compared to neighbouring properties. Views were amazing. Having a 4 bed room was a bonus for us.
