How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

From the tram to the apartment, you have to walk slightly uphill.
Everything was excellent. Comfortable apartments, a beautiful view of the mountains, and all the appliances were in good working condition. Hospitable hosts!

A little bit far from downtown Florence and the touristic spots, but there is a tramway stop a few minutes away from the apartments that makes the trips very easy, so not a real problem in our book
Very clean accomodation at such a reasonable price! We had everything we needed, and even the common kitchen was spotless. The neighbourhood was quiet too. Would definitely recommend for a nice stay in Florence for someone who might be on a budget!

The staff at Piccolo Poggio Apartments were so kind and helpful. I accidently left a couple of pieces of clothing in one of the dressers and they set them aside and mailed them home for me. I dont think most places would have done this, and I was so thankful that the staff went above and beyond to help me out.

Great location only 10 minutes from the tram into central Florence. Comfortable rooms with a shared kitchen. Flexible with offering luggage storage after checkout in an area with camera surveillance. If we are ever back in Florence we would love to stay again.

Possibly needs a soap tray in the shower and the drainage was a little slow.
Comfortable and clean. The kitchenette has everything you need for self catering. Short walk to the tram.

While we found a place to park in front of the place, parking can be rough. Prepare to search an alternative parking loot, especially with a big car.
Nice, clean room in a quiet district with good connection to the city center.

Simeone is very kind and always willing to help. The apartment and the room is very nice and with all the facilities. I would stay there every time I visit Florence.

It’s a bit of a walk from the tram line up a hill so definitely recommend looking at getting a taxi/Uber but other than that it was a perfect stay
The host were very friendly and helpful. I made a request for an item and within 10 minutes had it at my room. They had a fully equipped kitchen and also a washing machine. There was a lift up to the rooms

You need a key to use the lift. So, I had to take my luggages via stairs when I arrived and checked out. Fortunately, I only had two small cabin luggages.
I love my stay there. The owner was really helpful and explained everything very well. The apartment was clean and well equipped

The owners were very detailed and inform you ahead of time and responds promptly on chat. It has an elevator too which is a plus for us who had luggages. The room is big with a spacious toilet. The kitchen was big and they have a washing machine and we were able to wash our clothes. ❤️

Overall the kitchen is very equipped, but it could benefit from a few additional items such as a cutting board, a vegetable peeler, and some oil
Very clean, beautiful, renovated, and fully furnished apartment. I loved the fact that they provided us with 2 towels per person! Great location in a super safe area: only a 5-minute walk to the tram, and just 10 minutes by tram to the city center. A large supermarket within walking distance. Easy access to the apartment

Everything was perfect! The owners were very polite and kind, they helped us with everything we needed. They sent us all the necessary information from the day before our arrival. The room was so clean and beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it! ❤️

Simone and Simona were beyond amazing! Response to questions was always quick. They sent clear instructions with pictures, and they went out of their way to assist in any way they could! The apartment was clean and comfortable and it came with kitchen and washing facilities. Street parking was easy to access and very close.

It is a bit far from the city center, but in a quiet neighborhood. It would be great for other guests if there is available shampoo/shower gel and an iron. 😊 Toaster was missing in the kitchen.
The cleanest apartment I have stayed so far. The hosts were so polite and helpful. The location is very easy to find on the map. There is a shared kitchen with everything needed for cooking.

Some noise from upstairs room at night.
Easy self check-in, nice neighbourhood easily accessible by public transport, detailed information provided by the owner, tidy and clean room, good windows that do not let in light in the morning, air conditioning, & friendly son who greeted us on our check-in

The hosts were very friendly, kind and helpful. The kitchen was well equipped with any utensils you may need. The room was very clean and spacious. The air conditioning was working like a charm. It’s less than 30 mins from the city centre by tram (or 40 mins if you like walking). Truly recommended!
