signage on balcony door needs to made clearer otherwise you lock yourself out - if you do make sure you’ve got your phone on you ☺️

No complaints about Hotel Piccolo. The size of the room was small but that is not unusual for Italy.

We were running very late but were still well accommodated by the hotel when we arrived. We drove in and they have plenty of parking which was a very pleasant surprise. The views from the hotel are impeccable. Breakfast was good and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Photos in my review taken from our balcony.

We had originally booked 4 nights and when we arrived, we realized we had to fly out early from Milan and would not need the last night. We told this to the staff on our first day there. They were unable to release the last night off our bill and charged up FULL price for the night that we could not use. I would have hoped for some flexibility with 3 days warning to fill the room and get another guest in. I run a small hotel at home and this is what our staff would have done. Very disappointed in the strict, non-compassionate option. THe refund policy states that we had to have a 3 day minimum to tallow for a cancelation , which we did and I believe we gave enough notice to warrant a discount or full refund of the last night

Breakfast was great as well as the servers. View was spectacular, Room had everything we needed.

We arrived early but a very friendly and welcoming lady managed to get us a room right away. What wowed us immediately was the view from the hotel overlooking the lake. Also from the breakfast room there is a million Dollar view, just amazing. The breakfast itself was a buffet with some items changing daily so we didn’t get tired of it. The location was outside the city, but there is a nice walkway along the lake. We walked it a couple of times but it is approx. 4km. Nevertheless there is a „tourist bus“ station just outside the hotel, there is a bus about once per hour and you pay the driver directly, I think it was 1.5 Euro per person. It is helpful when you don’t want to drive after dinner.

We would welcome a fridge in our room but other than that everything was perfect.

Exceptional place with beautiful beach and the kindest staff. Breakfast and dinner felt like in 5* hotel and the view from the terrace was breathtaking. We also got a present for our dog. The hotel is situated a bit further from the centre but there is a bus coming every hour.

Sadly the bed and overall rooms are rather old The mattress was pretty horrible but for two nights ok and kinda filled the gap with the location I guess

Shower was broken and leaked badly to the bathroom floor. Reception was informed 2 times but nothing was improved/done. Zero noise cancellation (can hear neighbours and everything going on in the hall).

We couldnt sleep because right above us the staff were preparing the breakfast area late at night - moving chairs, tables.. When we complained, we were treated rudely.
