Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesEverything was great. So enjoyable.
The hotel was right next to the beach area which is what we were hoping for. The room was clean and had charm. It was quiet and we had a good evening in the area. The breakfast was perfect and the host was so gracious. We enjoyed visiting with them and their family. We spent the day at the beach which was within walking distance. The host graciously let us keep our rental car at the property so we didn't have to find other parking. Thank you so much. We loved the atmosphere of the hotel and the area. Very local and engaging. We were close to a market area and were able to shop for items needed and some local fruit stands for food. Make sure to visit the older section of the city. There is a lovely church. We went for a walk in the early morning and loved getting to know the area. Very lovely.

SwitzerlandWe‘ve stayed 4 nights in Piccolo Hotel. The staff welcomed us very lovely and they were extremely kind! :) We came by car so you dont have to be worried about the parking because you can park in a private garden, so its safe! We had two separate beds in our room, a balcony, enough place and it was cleaned every day! They even had shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom. We’ve slept very calmly, with the windows opened at night. The breakfast was very easy, the staff remembered which type of coffee we drank every morning!:) The location is perfect, the beach is very close, you just have to go down the main street and you are there! You have so much restaurants and shops near the hotel! Even a supermarket behind it! I recommend this hotel for couples, families, for everyone because you will not regret it!:) So happy to have stayed there and i believe, we are going to visit these lovely people and the nice hotel again!:) Thank you, grazie mille!❤️
