Our room was so amazing. We had the only balcony over looking the Pitti Palace where we watched the world go by.(a little noisy at times but we loved it) The staff were super helpful & the room was always clean. We loved the quieter more authentic location in San Spirito where we also did a Walks Devour Food & Wine Tour which was one of the favorite things we did. Restaurants right beneath us & Pitti Palace & Bolboli Gardens directly opposite our hotel Only 15min into see the Duomo etc which was so busy we were glad to come back to the Pitti Palace We highly recommend our stay

The fact that the room was right by the reception desk so it was not private enough for us. Also not soundproof as we could hear the other people in the next room and in the hallway.

The two rooms was great, the bathroom was spacious and clean. The location was excellent.. right across from the Pitti Palace! And close walk to all the restaurants and main attractions! I would come back here again for sure!!

Very different hotel, in a good way. Like sleeping in a museum. Breakfast was only available from 10:00 AM, which was weird. Found a very nice place 3 minutes' walk from there.

Quite pricey, the photos on booking.com were not clear to which room is which. Our room was only accessable through the salon/breakfast room. Luckily that room is not used much. The sofa bed was a little old so not so comfortable for my kids.

Decoration was beautiful . Staff were friendly and helpful. Out bathroom was new but tastefully decorated in keeping with the old style of the hotel.

Location was absolutely superb but it was wonderful its a place with view on Pitty palace and inside it was so much “Florence “ wonderful paintings and Comfortable beds , spa was absolutely lovely , we all say we wish we could stay longer . We love this apartment; Great location , a lot of restaurants and shops are around, only about 10 to 15 minutes walking to reach the most historical sightseeing. The Palazzo Pitti is just in the opposite of the hotel

The property was very well situated and close to everything. The property is historically preserved from the 16th century. The frescos were original. Beds comfortable. Rooms clean and ready!

Slightly dated facilities which is to be expected, for example the shower was blocked and flooding the bathroom to begin with but they sorted this for us.

Beautiful building and room - truly stunning. Great location in the best neighbourhood. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Appreciated them setting up a crib for our baby.

Piazza Pitti Palace is exceptional. It operates like a high-end B&B in an historic building that retains countless features from its original use as a residence for some of the Pitti family. We were able to see most of the rooms because we traveled with several guests for a birthday celebration. Rooms are spacious (and frescoed), bathrooms are large and updated, breakfasts overflow with delicious offerings served on china, and the staff is delightful. It is not for those who might be uncomfortable without overnight, on site staff or have expectations of thoroughly modern hotel rooms. For us and our friends it was the the perfect blend of comfort and charm, and a unique way to experience Florence.
