How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Only the difficulty to find a free parking for the car
Good location (less than 10min walk to the free beach) good breakfast (with variety of sweet and sour options and excellent cappuccino) and very welcoming staff. Free Parking was hard to find but the hotel suggested a couple of options which worked out. We traveled with a toddler of 2yo and the travel certo the hotel provided had a very comfy mattress, bed sheets and a small pillow. On request they provided a kettle to heat up the bottle for the milk. Air conditioning in the room was ok and the external blackout darkened the room perfectly (very important for the afternoon nap of our toddler). There is a lift and the possibility of leaving the stroller downstairs. The hotel has an agreement with a nearby bagno which rented us a spot (umbrella, 2chairs, 1 chaise-longue) for a reduced price.

The size of the room was small, it fits 4 people but it needs training on efficiency, especially the shower cabin. Enough storage, bunk bed really cool looking but a tad difficult to manage. One of the kids feel of it while sleeping (lucky for us, it was the atletic kid, that landed on his feet), as there was no side protection but we improvised and moved the smaller kid in the parents bed and used only the lower bunk bed. I know I wrote a bit in this section, but I wouldn't change a thing. It made for a really authentic experience.
The room was clean, great view, awesome balcony, staff very nice, friendly and very helpful! Breakfast was good and with many options. The hotel staff helped us arrange for our daughter's birthday a small suprise in the room upon her arrival. That was really nice and it made her vacation even more significant. The other kid forgot his braces at departure and the staff is currently helping us with delivery arrangements. (New age parenting costs extra) 😃 Great restaurants nearby!

There was a lot of noise, especially in the mornings. The walls are not very thick, so I woke up quite a lot because of noises from the other guests. The tv wasn't working (I didn't care because I never watch TV anyway).
Such a cute hotel! I really enjoyed my stay here. It's close to the beach and close to a lot of restaurants. The rooms were very clean, the wifi was great and it was great being able to sit outside on the terrace.

Quite small (but still sufficient) room for 4 people. The rooms are a bit old but still well kept. Shower is small.
Excellent value, good quality and service above the 3 star rating of the hotel. Excellent breakfast for 8€ / person. Our room had a great terrace where we could enjoy a drink and the setting sun.

Tiny sink in the room.
Very nice, family run hotel in a good location. All of the staff are very friendly, they also have the discounts for their guests on one of the beaches.

2nd time I have stayed here and will located for beach and restaurants and breakfast selection is fab and very reasonably priced. However what made the stay was definitely the staff so friendly and helpful. Organised a taxi for the airport not only for myself but for my friends that were staying in another hotel and were let down at the last minute. Can’t wait to go back

Everything was great
Very clean.& fresh, the staff were all very friendly, welcoming & helpful, we really felt like they were proud of their lovely hotel and really aimed to please. The breakfast selection was fantastic. A great stay overall and will definitely stay there again.

They are so kind and sweet. Breakfast , close to the public beach, room has a balcony with ocean view,staff was so kind, everything was perfect. They offered us to go to bus tickets from a kiosk it was helpful .I wish I could have stayed longer.

We had a wonderful stay at Perla del Mare. The hotel is beautiful and clean. It is only few metres from the beach and the lido with all the bars and restaurants. The breakfast buffet was great and the staff so friendly!
