Great host, clean room, get location. Only 10 minute walk to the Colosseum, the host is amazing and really attentive to the guests. Cannot recommend enough! I'd stay again.

Excellent accommodation with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was spacious and included high-quality toiletries. The room offered complimentary cookies and coffee capsules, as well as water, juice, and soft drinks. Great location, close to the metro and bus stop, and just a few minutes from the Colosseum. I would definitely stay here again.

Small thing - it would be good to have wifi details in the room. In my case I arrived late at night and had problem connecting to the local network so couldn’t receive the info for wifi via WhatsApp and the router isn’t visible anywhere.

Lovely, clean, comfortable space - great location with great bus and metro links from right outside. Pepe was great at communication though we didn’t get to meet. So lovely providing inclusive soft drinks, water and snacks and nice toiletries. Would definitely return when back in Rome. Gracie.

Love everything about it.

Property was clean and tastefully furnished. It was in a safe area in a charming apartment building. Pepe was an absolutely wonderful and friendly host. He gave lots of great recommendations and complimentary snacks.

The location was ideal — quiet yet close to the metro and within walking distance of key sights, such as the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Pepe’s place is near everything. There are grocery in the front and side of the building, pharmacy around the corner, tram in front and metro on walking distance. It is also near colosseum which is great if you plan to go there. The metro can easily take you anywhere in rome easily. Though it is near everything it is far from the chaos of central rome. It is perfect for people who want convenience but dislike chaos. The room has everything you need for your stay and Giuseppe is very responsive to questions.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming guest house! The room was cozy, all new, clean, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect—peaceful yet close enough to walk to restaurants and local attractions.( walk distance to Colosseum) Also, what really made the experience stand out was the host. He was incredibly helpful from the moment I arrived. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming place to stay.

My staying in the Guest House Manzoni was excellent. Giuseppe is a great, fast responsive and very kind host. And as for the place, I felt safe and comfortable and that's very important to me when I am travelling. My room was 100% clean and comfortable and I would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Rome (solo travellers as well as couples). The location is convenient, 10 minut from Colosseo or less than 10 minutes from Lateran Basilica.

The room lets outside sound in easy so you may hear especially in the evenings when you probably will return back to your room to rest some sounds from next rooms bathroom and also road outside like ambulances/ Police sirens when they pass which pretty frequent when I stayed for 3nights last week. But host Giuseppe is aware of it and working to make it better sound proofing wise. Also in my view I think another mirror by bed or TV wall would be handy for ladies when bathroom is occupied for getting ready purposes for ladies.

This one is in Rome, 10-15 minutes walk to Colosseum. Next to a bus stop, and underground train station Manzoni. There was a decent size convenient store Carrefour Express next door to buy usual food/ drinks if in rush. Building looks really good. The property is a residential apparent on ground floor with 4 rooms. The Rome property tax that you have to pay at the end of your stay once you are there for this property is 7 euros per person per night stay. This is outside the room charges we pay to book. This does not have any reception or anything. You get 2 keys for buildings gate and room door. And 1 secure pin code to the apparent common entrance known by 4 rooms occupants and the host. The room is modern. Tasteful decor, and clean. Amenities included number key locker, a desk with few soft drinks in a mini fridge , few snacks biscuits, coffee machine, kettle, tea and coffee packets for duration of stay. Chair, heater with controls and Hisense TV. The window had dark blinds that you turn switch to open or close. Bed side table and lamps. Lots of shelves and hangers to hang clothes or keep suitcase. The bathroom was narrow but very clean and nice with fresh bath towels, hand towels and face cloths, toothbrush, soap, shampoo, body wash, shower cap, slippers, hairdryer, toilet rolls, bidet , toilet, mirror, sink and stand in shower room with hand shower. I stayed in Large double bedroom ensuite that was first one when you enter. Bed and pillow was really comfy and big. The host Giuseppe was really nice and you can communicate in English. He is always reachable on phone or WhatsApp if you need anything. He provided recommendations for restaurant too. The only thing to mention is that Giuseppe is working on better sound proofing the room and putting another mirror by bed. Sometimes at the moment you may hear sounds from next door shower room or from outside like ambulances/ Police sirens when they pass.
