The only think I would suggest is having ventilation fue hot days. There was a fan bout it was inoperable and I wasn’t able to keep open the window to get some cross ventilation

The (separate) bathroom was used by people who weren't supposed to use it. The shower was not really ideal. It was a bath with a loose showerhead and no curtain. The ventilator (which was listed as a room facility) was only available after extra payment (€3,-, because we booked through booking, otherwise more).

Excellent place in the center, very quiet, old but good preserve building. Attentive owner is always available and help to clients with local life questions. You have all need for night stay, except shower, but you have bath (shared). From the roof of the building you have fantastic view of the town.

The Palazzo was nice but with the old thick stone walls and with the tiled floor never really warm. But we Swiss have different temperature at home. The location was perfect and the owner was very friendly and tried to heat more.

Right in the city centre, cute Pensione. Comfortable room and bed. Shared bathroom. Lovely shared terrace on top of the building with amazing views over the old city and lake Bolsena. Owner very friendly and accomodating. We were able to charge and store our e-bikes safely for the night.

Nico allowed me to check in early and was very welcoming and helpful. The terrace view was outstanding. There was a line for hanging laundry, which is a big plus for anyone walking the Via Francigena. A very pleasant stay.

Stair to the terrace are very tight.

Great location - easy to get around Bolsena from here - either to the lake or to the castle. Rooms and linens are clean and fresh. Fantastic terrace with view of the lake or of the castle. Head up to the terrace in the evening to watch the sunset with your favorite refreshments.

There’s nothing I didn’t like about the property! The Host was so sweet and he messaged so promptly.

I absolutely love the rooftop at sunset! I also loved that I was the only one that dared to climb up the stairs that night for sunset so I had it all to myself! It was great! I just loved talking to the hosts mom at night at sunset after I was coming down from the roof. She was on another Terrace and we had such a fun time.

Italians are really nice, so I thought the male host was being 'too' nice lol, but that's just how they are! He didn't try anything suspicious or crude, which was great!

Great single bed, great view, and a lone rooftop view! The male host was nice and pleasant, entrance fee is a dollar (euro) but that's great. I was cautious because I was traveling alone, but nobody tried to harm me or unlock my door, so win-win! bathrooms are separate but that's told. They gave me a key and left me to my own devices. In the morning, they gave me time to check-out whilst rest of the faculty (I think they're all a family) were busy cleaning and preparing for the next guests. As a woman traveling alone, It was fantastic.

What bothered me was the bed and the pillow, extremely uncomfortable, I felt as if I slept on stones all night. A very good investment in beds and pillows is necessary because this is the most important. For the money paid I expected more. In order to turn on a simple fan, we were asked for another 5 euros, which did not seem fair to me because it should have been included in the accommodation fee.

In the middle of the night, another guest unlocked and pushed open our bedroom door. This is unacceptable. Check-in was unprofessional.

For the price the room was small with a bit of dust, windows in room were small, shared washrooms could be cleaned more frequently.

The shared top terrace was spacious with good view, the location is in centre of old city.
