The hostel is simple but good. Some furniture might need refreshing maybe 🤔. Nevertheless, I spent a good night. The neighborhood is quiet with a restaurants and a pub nearby the Ticino River, not to mention the 12th century beautiful church.

I have to wait 2hr for check in as the time was mentioned in booking.com was 12pm but they allowed me to check in at 3pm. They said they forgot to correct it. The vending machines aren't working inside with card or app. There's no grocery store nearby so it's better to keep some snacks or food. I heard there's bedbugs as well so it's better to be careful.

I just liked the old men in TV room that's it.

If you’re looking for a place to not sleep, this is the one. One guy was making noises like he was auditioning for a zombie movie—gasping, choking, the whole horror show. Another was snoring like a bear with a megaphone. Add a generous helping of bloodthirsty mosquitoes and you’ve got yourself a night straight out of a nature documentary gone wrong. Oddly, the heat was fine. Everything else? Not so much.

The toilet was broken and didn’t flush. The reception area had an unkempt man sitting on a sofa who stared at the wall and didn’t acknowledge us when we passed by. My children were a bit scared by the whole place. The price was very expensive for poor accommodation.

The bathroom was dirty and filled with other people's toiletries and used towels. The kitchen was too dirty and the equipment too broken for me to want to even try and use. There was no safe storage for my bicycle. There are no plugs or lights by bunks, and only some cupboards which don't have a safe way of locking them. It seems this is a place for long-stay workers rather than tourists and some workers came in late, others left before 6am. I do not recommend this place to other cycle tourers.

There is a lovely riverside cycle path that leads from the centre of Pavia to the hostel.

Liked · The room was really good and the staff exceptionally kind. The hostel is a bit far from the city center for most people (about 30-40 minutes on foot), but you can walk along the river. I didn't use the kitchen so can't comment on that.

No washing machine. In my case I stayed there long but,Iam fortunate I bought many clothes. It was difficult.

My 15 day stay was really great. But more than the stay I enjoyed the time with new people who are studying the same university and the common area is the place I enjoyed a lot.
