Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

EstoniaThe only light source (except the window) was the cealing light, no other small lamps near the bed for example. This would be a really simple and good upgrade for the room to make it little bit more cozy.

LithuaniaStreet noise. Everything I needed I had to ask for instead of getting it in advance (how to get in, wifi password, change of bed linen as I stayed more than a week and didn't get a cleaning service, maybe because I didn't ask...).

AlbaniaThe cleaning isn't included even though it's mentioned in the description. The staff told us they don't provide the cleaning when asked. (not even towels lol) Air conditioner only worked on cold, the heating mode didn't work. Wifi not working even if you go to the main lobby. Supermarkets nearby close at 8pm. Nearest 24h supermarket was 30min away by feet.
Room was comfy and cleaned before we went in. TV had all the subscriptions. Very spacious and more than enough for two people. It had a bus stop 2 steps away from the hotel.

IrelandAll the sounds from the street and the corridor are very audible in the room. The bathroom is in a separate room, so you always have to go through the corridor to get to your private bathroom. The room is not bad, but definitely not worth the money.

GeorgiaFor six days, we didn’t have a new towel and had to keep using the same one, which couldn’t dry in the bathroom because there was no dryer outside. Additionally, there was a noticeable unpleasant odor in both the room and the apartment overall.

United StatesRome public transport was a little complicated since streets are under construction and I would spend 30 euros one way to the town center every time. It’s only a 16min ride to center but Ubers were expensive! Overall a great location if you want to stay outside town center but ends up being expensive to ride into town and Rome landmarks. Fiumicino Airport was 80 euros
It was super clean, especially the bathrooms. Host were very friendly and responsive.

LatviaWe have stayed in lot of places but I have to admit that this is one of those rare times when host exceeds every expectation. Brian was super helpful, always available via WhatsApp, super friendly and even prepared a guide in .pdf format to have the best transport options, restaurants, etc. Was really great. Location is super close to Pigneto metro station so you can get to any point easily. Great neighbourhood and room itself was really clean and comfty. Highly recommended. We didn't take breakfast as coffee shops are working from 6 - 7 AM even on Sundays so we wanted to try each morning a different place :)

UkraineThe building is very close to the road. At night it's quite noisy. The hotel provides earplugs but they do not help at all. The window in the apartment does not have any soundproof layer. The shower was leaking. As for staff - we didn't meet anyone and it was really contactless check-in. But! We asked for a wifi password and got it only the next day after check-in. We asked for a hairdryer but didn't get it at all...
Close to the city center, the subway station is 9 minutes by foot, bus station - 1 minute Good bed, apartment looks good

IsraelThe area itself is quite industrial and noisy. On the other hand, - a lot of shops and fastfood around.
Very clean apartment, has all necessary stuff, even flents, dishes and bottle opener! :) Amazing manager Brian, very welcoming and accurate. There is no parking place, but there is a free parking nearby, we parked in 5 metres from the 1st attempt. The location is good in terms of the access to the city - 20 mins from the centre of Rome, a lot of transport stations nearby.

BelarusOur room was facing the street. We were kindly provided with earplugs. I'm a light sleeper, so it didn't help. Though my son was not complaining, slept like a log without them.
The room is just as in the picture. We rented one with a bathroom of our own. The kitchen is shared, but almost never saw other guests. It's well-equipped with a little fridge, a cooking panel, a microwave, a kettle, etc. There are different utensils for cooking, as well as for serving food. Wi-fi is great. The staff is 24/7 available and is very helpful. A walk away from metro C. You've got to change lines to get to places. Oh, there's a fantastic confectionary on the way to the metro station. Couldn't help buying a cornetto every time we crossed it. Enjoy Rome!

PolandIt is located near the road, so it is very noisy even at night. Only one room has a bathroom inside, in other rooms the bathroom is separate *in the common corridor). Even what should be in the room (wi-fi, hairdryer) you have to ask for. On the second day of our stay, they took the mattress from the second bed. After our complaints, they promised to return the mattress, but they never did. The overall impression is yes terrible.

AustraliaI was really disappointed with my stay. The room didn’t match the photos at all. It only had a double bed, and there was no bed for the third guest—just a mattress on the floor, no wardrobe either, just a limited space to hang our clothes. Additionally, the bathroom wasn’t ensuite, so we had to leave the room to access it, locking both the room and the bathroom each time. The kitchen was in a real poor condition—dirty, small, outdated, and shared with other guests. There was no reception on-site, and if you had any questions, you had to send a WhatsApp message and wait a few hours for a response. Had to ask for additional toilet papers. The quality of the tap water was the main and biggest concern, and when I asked about it, I didn’t get a clear answer. On top of that, I had to pay €72 in city taxes for a 4-night stay with 3 guests, which felt excessive given the overall quality of the experience. Overall, it was a very disappointing stay and definitely not worth the price.
nothing to say.

PolandThe only thing which could be slightly improved is the dimension of the fridge in the shared kitchen. The first few days were great; but later it was really cramped. But this is just a minor incovenience
The location of the rooms were great since you have in proximity the metro station and in from the tram directly to rome termini. The rooms were clean, the AC worked great. The check in and contact with the hotel was great. I really recommend this place. In proximity there are a lot of shops. The kitchen was well equipped.

AustraliaThe rooms are “strictly no smoking” buts it’s obvious that people had been smoking in them. The room had a distinct smell of cigarette! The bathrooms are a bit confusing there is 3 all up and it’s IMPORTANT that you know what one is yours as I got stuck in one that’s wasn’t ours and had to get my partner to knock on someone else’s door to get me out.
The owner Brian is super lovely and helpful. Close to train and bus station It’s a a different area of town so nice to see that and explore Rome more
