Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CroatiaThe breakfast room is very cramped. The tables are literally on top of each other. The breakfast could be better. The bathroom is dirty.
staff, reception, parking in the garage, but you probably won't park in the garage. Instead, they will tell you that there is no space in the garage, as there is none, and that you will have to park on the street!. But there is no space in the garage either.

United States-The furniture was originally chosen with a gold-plated finish, which has now worn off, making the furniture look very worn and old. Fingerprints that haven’t been cleaned are visible all over it. -The breakfast was very poor, the most monotonous of all the hotels I stayed at during my trip, and I visited eight in three weeks. -The room lacked the most essentials, such as soap, a kettle, and tea supplies (at least a couple of tea bags).
The staff was very friendly and responsive, both at the reception and during breakfast in the restaurant. When I requested a kettle, which wasn’t available in the room, the young man found one in storage or in another room and brought it to us.

JerseyThe hotel is completely off the beaten track so don't think of going there by public transport. The nearest metro station is 20 minutes walk away. The breakfast was extremely basic. We arrived at 6 p.m. in a July heatwave but they couldn't serve us any kind of drink nor food. Not quite up to 3 star standards. We had to traipse up the hill in the heat in search of somewhere to eat and drink.
This hotel suited us as we needed safe parking & easy entry & exit to Rome. The staff were very helpful & the rooms acceptable although one day our beds were not made.

ItalyThe room was not exceptionally clean and quite dusty.
We chose the hotel because it's near the Olympic stadium and we were in Rome for the Coldplay concert. The staff was nice and quite helpful. They gave us all the information we needed. There is also space where to park your car. Our room was small but very comfortable. The breakfast is included in the price and is quite good.

United KingdomNot central at all. 2 hour walk or 20 min walk 15 minutes metro. Area very run down with trash everywhere (not hotel) damp on ceiling and under bed full of dust bunnies and dirt. They only sometimes had soya milk for cereal at breakfast so not amazing for vegans and restaurant just give you tomato pasta with nothing as this is only vegan option. No Aircon. Building having works very noisy in the morning and no sound proofing between rooms-we didn't get much sleep!
I liked friendly staff, good towels, breakfast included, taxi included from airport, sitting area outside for reading with pretty plants, bed change and bathroom cleaned every day

United KingdomThe location isn't ideal with a good 20 minute walk to the metro and the area isn't especially nice with lot of litter, dumped furniture etc ... it's outside the hotel grounds but I'm sure the hotel could do something to clean up the surrounding area. The air conditioning didn't work but not a problem for us as it wasn't too warm in April. Some walls in the bedroom were dirty with various stains. The breakfast is mainly sweet items and could perhaps benefit from some fruit but it is ample with a decent selection. The cleaning staff seem stretched and things get forgotten like soap in the bathrooms. It would be nice to have a small table/chairs on the balcony and/or to have some of the roof area made into a sun bathing space with loungers. Finally there was building work going on adjacent to our room with noise starting from 7am every week day morning and this also made having the balcony door open difficult because of dust. Mention could/should have been made when booking
Offers good value for money. The hotel is decent and our room was large with everything we needed, clean comfortable bed, fridge, well equipped bathroom with plenty of hot water. The price was good for a week in Rome. Staff were friendly from reception, breakfast staff and cleaners. We were also allowed an early check in for free which was appreciated

LithuaniaAs I’m the person who like to eat proper breakfast, the food options weren’t so good. There were lots of sweets ( pastries, pies) and the omelette and sausages looked unappetising.
It was good experience. We stayed in the hotel for 1 night. First of all, the hotel offered us the transfer from Fiumicino airport for 5 people for 90 EUR. We arrived at the airport late (at 22:40). It was fast and great with the transfer. The staff was so helpful and kind. The room and bathroom were great. Also we could leave our luggages the next day for free and have a walk in the city.
