Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyNice hotel, good facilities, very friendly and helpful staff. Very convenient for Verona plus there's a pool. Highly recommended.

CroatiaThe showerhead was a little clogged from the limescale so it was difficult to adjust the water pressure. Also, limited outlets available in room so you can only charge one device in the room and one in the bathroom at any time. Other than that, really no complaints.
The staff was extraordinarily kind. They make you feel welcome as soon as you enter the hotel. The shower was quite spaceous and so was the room, so it feels large and comfortable to stay there. The terrace with the swimming pool is an exceptionally relaxing place to just sit and enjoy the breeze. All in all, one feels very at home while at the same time enjoying the rustic setting. The breakfast was just okay tho. Nothing special, but definitely not bad.

United KingdomThe lunch and evening meals are fine dining and are tasty, but I would have liked some simpler snack options. Some of the rooms have problems/issues that have been solved rather than mended, e.g. a badly fitting toilet seat and a enormous, loud, stand alone air conditioner to replace the original ones. Being in the countryside there are a lot of insects.
A charming little hotel with an excellent pool. You can't help but relax. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast has a good selection, the same selection every day. It would be easier to visit with a car, but the bus stop is just outside and we used public transport to visit Sirmione and Verona without too much difficulty though try to avoid peak times in summer. The supermarket is 15 minutes walk away. Compared to other options in the area, it was good value for money

United StatesThe room was the cabin in the back of the property, so the WIFI never worked and the TV got only a couple of working channels. Also, the AC worked pretty well when we first got there but the cleaning staff kept turning it off every time they cleaned, so we would come back to a sweltering room after being gone in the hot city all day and it took forever for the room to cool down again. After the 3rd day, it felt like the AC stopped working altogether. It wouldn't get really cold again. The power outlets were hanging out of the wall and the hair dryer would work for 1 minute and then crap out and didn't work again. I know it's kind of ridiculous, but there was a huge ant problem in front of the cabin and you could not stand there for even half a second without being bitten by ants. Last thing, I feel like they could make a smoother pathway to those back cabins because walking over the rocks even without dragging luggage was kind of a hassle when you're not surefooted (I have a damaged knee).
I wish I had gotten the name of the man that worked the front desk and was a waiter at the restaurant in the evening (we were frazzled when we arrived and I honestly don't know if he gave it and after a while I was too embarrassed to ask him), but he was SO NICE and accommodating for everything! Absolutely a gem the entire time. The breakfast was delicious every day and the dinners were too. The pool could have been colder :) but it was really nice to swim after sweating in Verona all day! The grounds are gorgeous and lots of birds singing at all times (the cicadas I could live without LOL). Plus, the bus stop is right out front and takes you right into Verona. We would be exhausted by the end of the day so we would take a taxi back instead of the bus and that cost about 15 euros from Piazza Bra (but it was worth it since they don't turn on the AC in the buses even in summer for some inexplicable reason).

United KingdomThe rooms were abit dated, but then again we didn't spend much time in them apart from sleeping.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, it was like a private villa on top of Verona, I was on a roadtrip with a friend, they served nice breakfast, plenty of parking and a beautiful pool. I hope I stayed another night

United KingdomIt’s changed somewhat since the pictures were taken. It’s tired and a bit dated and could go with some TLC.
Close to Verona on a bus route and also close to the airport. Friendly, helpful staff. Pool to cool off with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. We had an outside “room” which has a lounge bit, bedroom and bathroom. Small fridge which is great but a very tired sleeper couch which should probably be thrown out. They also do meals in the evening.
